I had the XR and loved it. I had the 11P for a few days and if I had to decide between the 11P and 11 it would be the 11P. I left the XS for the XR because the XS battery was just not enough IMO. I recently gave the 11P a chance but went with the 11PM but I have been a Plus user since Apple made them.

The 11P is the sleeper of the bunch. Great fit in-hand and ridiculous battery life. The screen of the 11 is great and I have preferred the LCD screen in the past but I have to say I love the clarity and color of the Pro line. Yes, they are slightly warmer screens but I think they are accurate and I love reading on them. One thing that irked me with the XR/11 was the smaller default text in Safari. The screen is bigger but smaller text size? Not a deal breaker but annoying, for me.

I think the 11P battery is better than the XR and 11. I know specs say it but that doesn’t always mean it’s real. The battery life I got from the 11P on just the second charge cycle was insane.

I appreciate all your input. Gives me a lot to think about.

The part of your post that I bolded has me the most interested. I am going to have to go to BestBuy and/or Verizon and really check that out as I would find that annoying with the 11 as well. However, in iOS 13 aren't you supposed to be able to increase text size for the first time in Safari? If so then it won't matter to me.

Great perspective. Why did you go with the 11PM then? I have 11PM and like it, but wondering about the smaller size of the 11P. You almost had me sold, but then I saw you went with PM afterall

I like the size of the 11P better. The 11PM is JUST on the edge of too big for me. WTS, I just wanted my pictures to be bigger. I do a lot of editing on my phone. For example, I was able to capture this today. I took the card straight to my phone and did a quick cleanup edit in LR.

We also got a boat and I wanted the maps/GPS to be a big bigger on the screen.

The 11P is awesome. If you don’t have the photo size issue that I do it is an amazing device.

Yes, you can increase text size in iOS 13. I am being a bit picky but the jump just over 100% isn’t small.

I have always preferred bigger phones, even android devices like OnePlus and the S10+, which are taller, more narrow, and less bezel. I find that the Apple lineup of Max devices are just too big for me - width is my issue. It hurts to support it with one handed use.

I went with the Pro and love it. I do miss some of the extra real estate but I have no regrets.

It really is big. In the leather case it is as slippery as with no case. I will be picking up a silicone case as I need something with some tack for certain times.

It is slightly bigger than I want my phone to be but I really love the size of the maps and pictures that I take and edit. I know I have an IPP.. and I use it but 75% of my edits are done on my phone. The IPP is the I can sit down and do some edits... with two young boys and our crazy schedule I rarely get to sit down. We go and go and go.

If the battery life really is longer than the 11P I will be stoked. I do like the extra battery for days out on the boat where I can charge... but there is other stuff to focus on.

I guess the best way to say it is I am willing to deal with a little agony for the things that I prioritize in a movie device. The 11P left me wanting the phone to be a tad wider.. the 11PM wishing it was JUST A BIT less wide.

Same "boat", pun intended, here my friend, between work, and my son's sports, battery life is a biggie for me. I was considering the Pro, but I'm no young buck anymore and I really do need the larger screen size of the Max versions. It's funny how the things I love about the Max are also the things I don't like about the Max. LOL.

No young buck here also.. and reading text, especially in Safari, is easier on the Pro line with the XR/11 having the smaller default text size.

Just made the decision to return my Pro Max for the Pro. It wasn't so much the size as it was the weight. I'm making the exchange tonight.

I gave in and exchanged the 11 Pro for the Pro Max. So I went the other way. Loved the normal Pro for its more manageable size but I was used to a two day battery with my Xs Max and although some may say why don’t just charge every night, I’m sometimes away for two days and don’t always have my charger with me so I value strong battery life and with the Pro Max it will be the best. And the weight and size is not that big a problem after owning the Xs Max after all.

I am considering doing the same, going to 11Pro Max from 11 Pro.

I’m new to the IUP, how was the process? Did they hit your credit twice? That’s my concern.

They did it as a device exchange so no new credit application, although they was not sure about this as I was effectively changing it for a more expensive device.

Agony, some. Joy, more.

I have used iPhone SE last year. Very nice device, but when my wife got the new 11 I got her X. The X is also great, but the 11s camera, speed and overall package is just very compelling. So, today I went out and got another 11. It is a bit large, but battery life and camera makes it worth it.

Naked it would be alright, but in the Caudabe Sheath it is a tid big, but I like being able to use it without worry.
