I ordered LG G3 32GB white today :) The main reason was the price: 399€ ($438). I have been looking for a new Android phone to buy but this year's flagships are all too expensive, ranging between 550€-1000€ ($603-$1097). 2014 flagships are cheaper 400€-500€ ($440-$550) so I chose the cheapest 2014 flagship: LG G3. Great deal IMO :). My other option would have been either the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or 4. Well, Note 5 is going to be priced way too high just like the S6/Edge so that's a no go. Then there's Note 4 which current price is 700€ ($768) and while the price is going to get lower as soon as the Note 5 is announced, it's not gonna get as cheap as the LG G3. I also considered getting LG G4 but I'm gonna wait for it to get cheaper, currently 650€ ($713).

Yes, it's all about the money money money :p But on a serious note, IMO smartphone prices have become ridiculous. Samsung and Apple are asking us to pay 1000 big bucks for their phones?!? Laptop etc. bigger electronics costing 1000€+ I understand but a phone? o_O The most I have paid for a smartphone is 650€ and that's way plenty for me.

You could have got the G4 leather version for €450 ;)

I've ordered phones via eGlobal lots of times without hassle and no import charges either :)

I've got a G4... Trust me, do what MRU said!!

Don't get the G3 when the G4 is going so cheap right now, it's better than the G3 in every single way. (I had the G3 too!).

Thanks for the tip, but I don't want to buy my phone from overseas HK company. They may be OK, but I just don't trust shops like these. Maybe I'm overly cautious but still o_O

I think that's a great buy, I don't work in euros though being in England haha. But I DO agree that the price of new flagships is ludicrous and last years models are great value. Keep looking at that Note 4 in white hmm... I like the consistently good camera with OIS, the SD card slot, the great screen, it's powerful, the pen, I can add a wireless charging back cover to it.

My 399€ price tag converts to £278 thanks to the current rate that £1 is 1.5€ (so let's not buy anything from Amazon.co.uk LOL )

Note 4 is absolutely a great purchase, even more so now that the Note 5 is lacking way too much to be considered an upgrade. So when the price is right, go for it :)
