The new gold color is definitely a more champagne color, and it doesn’t look too bad! Reminds me of the gorgeous color on the 5s. The back does look a bit silver in bright light, though. Wish it was a little darker.

It looks very tacky in Apple’s marketing photos. Looks much better in reality.

Yeah it’s very muted in person, but at the same time it still looks classy. The color is really growing on me.

The color does change to a silver when u are out and about. It’s a Champagne Gold.

Didn’t care for gold too much? I was hoping it would be a better version of 11 gold cause all the cute cases I wanted. But I’m going to look at my Verizon store to see if they have graphite or pacific blue

Still very happy with gold 18k. I’d say in daylight the back cover is more beige than silver. Doesn’t matter tho since I got a thin case for it 🤓

I am torn between the graphite and gold. I saw gold over the weekend, and had rose gold when it was introduced, silver on first iPhone 4 on vzw. Thinking about changing it up and getting the PM in gold this year.

After I saw your post I checked Apple’s website to see if they had any more stock, and one store did. So I’ll be picking up my gold 12 Pro tomorrow.
