1st actual clear unboxing videos of the Gold 12 Pro I could find anyway. I'm still torn between Gold & Pacific Blue, but leaning more towards PB after seeing this video.

Enjoy!

This one is A quick comparison of last years Gold.As you can see there's a significant difference from last year. This years Gold is much more muted.

Quick comparison of all 4 colours Pro model.

This one has the best quality IMO & actually looks stunning. Hopefully we will get great quality unboxing this Friday.

I hated the gold the way it looked during the keynote. It looked like a super yellow Gold and tacky IMO. However in the pics I’m seeing of it, it looks great. Still glad I went with the graphite since I’ve had my gold xs for 2 years...it’s time for a change.

Here’s a great quality video of the Gold, she doesn’t seem to impressed with the muted back colour. She was so hyped to see the Gold, only to be let down. I felt the same way.

The gold on the band looks good. The back color is more of a cream. It’s very nice, but almost not quite gold?

But she also said..it looks bossy, premium, classy and rich

Can't wait!

Now I’m so torn, oh well. I’m not getting my device until late November/December so I’ll have time to see more people with the gold and see it in cases. I think I’ll still go with gold.

I was hoping for a little more gold on the back but at least it’s not the brass-copper-rusted-kinda rose goldish mess of last year. I just want to know who is giving final approval to these colors and would like to have that person interviewed why they came up with the final decisions on each color. That would be fascinating

this is very disappointing.Basically Apple falsely advertised its color with a darker golder back in its keynote. I’ll be returning it for silver if it doesn’t look better in person

Another very clear gold unboxing in Italian. He also is very disappointed when seeing the back cream colour instead of a more gold. Seems like I will be going with the PB. I had high hopes for the gold this year with apple’s pictured renders.

If push comes to shove and gold turns out to be a disappointment I’ll probably move over to graphite. I’m one of the outliers though when it comes to the opinion of the blues offered this year. I think the regular 12 blue looks better than the pro blue. 🙈

After seeing the back of the Gold in more reviews, I’ve settled on just getting the Pacific Blue instead. I was hoping the back would be gold and not that cream looking color. The back from the 11 Pro/Max look more gold to me. I love the sides of the phone though.

I don’t love gold, so I’d likely not order it, but it’s nice to see actual gold. It looks really good!

The original gold aluminum on the Apple Watch was the best gold ever (I’m sure it matched phones from the time, but I only ever had silver). Since then, they have regularly screwed the gold up with all the pink.

Different strokes and all, but I think a solid gold back that's more similar to the SS sides would be over the top and gaudy looking. I really like the muted back and think it does create a pretty classy look. You may want to see them in person yourself before deciding!

Yeah I wasn’t planning on getting the new phone looks pretty fly to go along with my SS series gold watch if Verizon ever sends it. The MagSafe features look prettt sweet also.
I'm the same - I wasn't going to get it but after getting my Series 6 in Gold (got lucky and ATT shipped it out fast) so now I really want the gold iPhone to match :). I'm holding out for the Pro Max
