Only reason I got the smaller pro is because you gave me the idea last week and people started hate bombing on you. Meanwhile in my mind I was sayin.....yeah....I like that idea.. and then I’ll get the max later when I do the exchange and then I started laughing like this...Muhahahahahaahahaha, and twisting my evil mustache at the same time...

I have too much time on my hands to come up with these semi creative posts 🤪

Hard to be sure as Apples description of a color are unique or not what you expect. Some photos give it that gold color everyone’s lookin for while other are a pinkish gold back
 
Almost did it! I've had silver since the launch of the X and am still into the colour but was able to get a 256GB Gold in my bag for pickup at my local Apple Store 24/10... I need to see the photos first though so will check the thread!

If they turned up the juice to get the plating to bite harder I would consider the gold. In the first pics in this post it looked pretty good. I had a gold 5S and she had a gold 7. My last 2 phones were black. It is a tad blingy though.. so I’m not sure. At least I’d be able to find it in a darker room.. maybe.
 
TechCrunch and iMore report that the gold iPhone 12 Pro uses a different coating on the stainless steel that makes it more durable and fingerprint resistant than the other colors. I was torn between the gold and the blue and since I don’t use cases, this might make my decision easier!

I’m definitely looking forward to the gold! It’s a stunning color and I’m happy to hear that it may be less prone to both fingerprints and scratching because of the coating process!
