So glad i went with Gold, the pacific blue is nice but i think it would feel dull really quickly cause its not Striking like the Gold is.

and no i don't use cases.

i was thinking of getting the silver pro max but after seeing some videos the silver looks very... off putting, almost as if they are dummy units.

The silver pro Max was going to be the 3rd color I was going to choose after Pacific Blue and the Gold but now it’s Pacific Blue or Gold, whichever ships first.

I have a gold 11 Pro. The 12 Pro is the same colour gold as the 11 Pro.

The Gold 11 Pro and the Gold 12 Pro are definitely NOT the same color.

I have and love the white 11 Pro but I do not like the white 12 pro. I'd go for blue first, then gold, then graphite.

After watching more videos, I feel the blue and graphite units have a more integrated overall design sense. The perfectly squared edges provide enough of a contrast in shape, that it seems like a subtler contrast in color between the the body and the stainless band would provide a more balanced overall aesthetic. The high contrast bands do look amazing in photographs and videos. But I wonder how I'd like them irl. Also fingerprints... But, I'm still considering all 4 colors, haha!

funny you say that - before the videos came out, silver was my #2 choice. But yeah, there's something about it, at least from the videos, that makes it seem like a mockup or dummy unit. Maybe it's how the perfectly flat edge that makes a perfect right angle to the screen/back...kind of seems like it's too perfect and not a real device? I dunno...

It does look stunning in Gold and definitely worthy of that ‘Pro’ price tag alone. There will be people buying the Pro models just for the premium stainless steel finish, and not give 2 hoots about the camera. Me personally I’m getting the 12 mini though.
Ya there are a lot of comments on here stating the extra ram and camera aren’t worth the extra $120 or whatever it is, but with the watch, the SS models cost way more and don’t have any extra features.
