I had a switch but then most of the games that I played on it was also on my iPad with better graphics. I was like nope this has to go lol
I'm somewhere in between! I end up using both back and forth...I play pretty much zero games on my iPad as I hate having to fish out a controller and pair it etc etc etc plus zero first party Nintendo games on the iPad so not even worth a comparison really - I am a gamer and apple has ALWAYS sucked for games for so so so many reasons - no wonder N destroyed this generation....
From my first gen iPhone to now they are no better.....I suppose they really dont care about gaming on Mac / iOS
I think that is a reasonable ask per se and they could deliver it given the back compatibility question solved.Zedla Tears of the Kingdom at more stable frame rate.
DLSS is magical and a mature technology. It doesn't need training on a game level. However I don't think Nintendo would feel the need to make the tech backwards compatible with older switch titles.DLSS currently is better then AMD's FSR that's for sure.

Nintendo have made a fortune over the years from making people buy a remastered version of the same game on 3-4 generations of consoles.
Photos of the Switch 2 have allegedly leaked. It looks like I expected, extremly similar to the Switch 2 with a few minor cosmetic changes.
If it aint broke, don't fix it. After the Wii and Wii U, I think the Nintendo nailed it. Looking forward to reveal and game play examples because the specs don't tell us much about ai powered graphical improvements.
Is that technically possible? I suppose the Steam Deck is at that level? But even then, you'd have to worry about battery life, price, etc. Just seems to be a difficult compromise to balance is all.Never stop underestimating Nintendos ability to shoot itself in the foot......I mean all of us just want a Switch 2 right which seems bloomin obvious to everyone how good that could be if it gets up to PS4 level graphics etc but N could just go completely left-field....
Looks like Nintendo is ending RyujinxSorry but couldnt wait so now playing echoes via rjujinx om my m2 mac and boy is it great !
Is it happening though until they release the remastered hd version at least for switch2?Looks like Nintendo is ending Ryujinx
I really hope the next switch comes out soon. I stopped playing Tears of the Kingdom and not going to pick it back up until I can play it again with better quality and framerate.
That is a big assumption that the Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility AND also include some sort of performance boost for older titles.Looks like Nintendo is ending Ryujinx

Backwards compatibility is one thing compared to their biggest title. I’d gladly pay for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom again. I do not like the quality of the current version. Especially the initial area. That is a big assumption that the Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility AND also include some sort of performance boost for older titles.

If this doesn’t happen I’m just done with Nintendo. If they won’t let me emulate to get higher performance and Switch 2 doesn’t address this then they lose me as a customer. Tears was the worst looking great game I have ever seen.
They supported GBA carts on the OG DS, along with supporting Wii games on the Wii U, so it is possible.Would be odd to do that if they are supporting carts from switch 1 on switch 2....
Yes, most likely they will support. But no one should expect fps/resolution/texture quality upgrades - it will run just like on switch 1. Only help should be stable fps with no dips, but the game designed for 30 would not start running at 60.They supported GBA carts on the OG DS, along with supporting Wii games on the Wii U, so it is possible.
Yeah they'll do an "Apple" and charge 40 quid for a 60fps remaster of all the old triple A switch titles !Yes, most likely they will support.
