I have a pic of me. Thing is, no-one else will ever use it unless they are a Paedophile in which case I lose...

If you'd like to see my previous (first) avatar I was one of the winners in the last contest, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I've used a couple of variants on my 'tar since my last update to this thread, so seeing as it's been resurrected I thought it would be a good opportunity to record them for posterity. :)

There's an animated tribute to Roger Milla's 'wiggle' goal celebration, and the England kit my 'tar wore while on international duty during the World Cup.

I've use the same Avatar for about 3 years now... I just refreshed it a few weeks ago (to match my blog). I like the idea of users keeping the same (type) of Avatar for long periods of time, because it increases user recognition (in my opinion).

My avatar is the first character in my first name, in my handwriting (with a 45 degree ellipse added). That being said, behold my Avatar. :)

Hey Jaffa Cake, I have kind of a funny story for you. An English colleague of mine walked past my desk just now as I was reading the thread and he says to me, "do you know what that is?", pointing at my screen. Confused, I said,"umm, work?". He then said, no, the little guy on the left hand side. I said, no, it's a figurine, I guess (I'm American, btw). He then goes on to inform me that it is a subbuteo figure (hey, I learned something), and that he was quite good at it as a child. In fact, he played for England when he was 12-16, traveling around Europe. I had no idea! He even has old newspaper clippings of him in his England kit playing against Italians and Dutch in competition.

So, now I more fully appreciate your avatar.

Cheers!

Hmmm... I changed my tar a couple of months ago after getting dizzy for somersaulting for 18 months or so...

The newer one still has the trampolining shot since I figured it did kind of 'brand' me - but is supposed to look like Tiger's iTunes screensaver.

^^ What are those other albums...? :)

It's what I was listening to most when I made that 'tar. I figured I could change the big albums every so often when I get a new favourite.

For the moment, it's sniffies's Supernatural, Lisa Miskovsky's Falling Water, Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams and Jose Gonzalez's Veneer - since I also wanted some good 'visual' covers and there were other 'favourites' that just didn't look good shrunk down.

Awhile ago I decided to copycat a bunch of other people's tars.

Didn't think I needed to post it here, since so many people have the same one as I've had since the change.
