I have a lot of new ones I am considering.

Note - some of these would need to be resized and/or compressed.

Anyway.. let me know if any of these stand out. :)

Um, yeah...the milk carton stands out. It's making me ill. Can you slow it down a bit?

I'd go with the Arsenal tube station. As WildCowboy says, animated 'tars can be a little distracting, and a lot of people already use South Park 'tars so you might not stand out too much with that one.

And there's always the risk that if you use the other one people might actually think you're Jeremy Clarkson. :p

Thanks you two. I find the milk carton a little fast and annoying too. I like the Arsenal South Park one.. still a possibility.. but maybe it will be Arsenal tube station for a bit. :)

EDIT: The JC one rocks! ;)

I must say, the Jeremy Clarkson one does amuse me, in spite of myself. :D

Nothing to do with him and you(or your 'tar) sharing the same hair-do is it?

That's an outrageous comment! <looks at hair nervously in mirror>

:p

Actually, as a teenager my hair was actually fairly Clarkson-esque at times. That'll be why all the kids beat me up then. I have learnt to tame the beast since then, which is fortunate. :D

I have been a member for what seems like forever. How do I earn the right to have my choosen AVATAR show? I don't just want to make lame posts to hit 600. I have read that sometimes exception is given to participating people. Is this true? How can I ask for grace, or what's the best way to get my avatar on here to is shows.

Thanks
Chris

I'm thinking of something new myself, since I've had this painting for so long.

I'm thinking something to do with myself, maybe cameras or design related in some way.

Wonderful.

Two design degrees, not creative enough to think up an avatar.

If our topics don't entice you to post more often, then YOU should bring up a topic. Start a Community Discussion thread about something that interests you and that we haven't already covered. You'll have more posts before you know it, and you'll add to our discussions.

In the meantime, show your creativitiy in your signature. Or invent an avatar, put it somewhere on the Internet, and link to it from your signature! There isn't even a size restriction if you do it that way (except the limits on the size of a signature).

Alright, I've decided on a Life Aquatic avatar, featuring the wonderful Steve Zissou:

Fair thee well, Nightscape avatar!

Ah thats awesome, ya just gotta love that movie, it was weird, sometimes a little awkward, but just plain fun.

Figure I would throw mine in this thread too while I'm posting here. Had this one since I could use a 'tar (which hasn't been too long :D). A nice little hanging painting with an apple logo. (And while it's probably too small to make out, the painting is actually a neat little blur picture I took while driving around, NOTE: I was the passenger, REMEMBER KIDS, don't drive and do flash photography!) ;)

I've always liked yours, ~Shard~, even with the color changes. I'm going back to my beginnings until I find something that does it, for me. <shrugs>

Ye Gads! Now everytime I think of ~Shard~ I'll have an image of a one-eyed purple head in mind.
Worse still everytime I see my one-eyed purple head I might think of ~Shard~!!
