Seriously? I don't agree with the poster, but it's hardly "against forum policy".
I don't make the rules, but for those who continue to post the same claims over and over again with no evidence and proof, they can be reported and their threads closed. ?‍♂️

"If you are asked to provide a source to validate your claim, it is your responsibility to do that, or, retract your claim.
- Rules regarding appropriate debate outlines this "
  1. Sources. If you claim that something's a fact, back it up with a source. When evidence of your claim is requested, you can either provide evidence or retract your claim. If you can't produce evidence when someone asks you to cite your sources, we may remove your posts. If you started the thread, then we may remove or close the thread.

Again...seriously? You would report someone for stupid stuff like this? You report someone for a threat or something, not for people snipping at each other, which happens in almost every thread ever day. Geez, lighten up.

This thread has 17 pages because of an error. People are still coming in here and asking innocent questions because they don't know to go to the bottom of page 8 or whatever to find the post that explains the issue. This thread, as well as another where the same two new users keep posting the same claims over and over again that no one else is experiencing without any evidence, should have been closed days ago. Some of us actually come to this forum to help others and learn about the new tech Apple just released, not be sidetracked and mislead by obvious trolling.

@babyexercise

I have opened a lot tabs and it was slowing down on the 16 gb models. Regardless i used Safari or Chrome.

The 32 gb model works fine. I have no idea what other mac users are used to, to call this slowed down performance fast. For me as a high end desktop user, it's feeling like a slow, entry level, mobile cpu.

Who would pay for this 2200 - 3000 Euros? Apple is in terms of price a premium brand, users are connecting with this premium features. Slowniness isn't premium.

I mean yeah I opened like 60 tabs of YouTube yesterday it didn't even slow down! What am I going to do? I don't even have anything to complain about to people on a forum that don't care. This machine is bringing nothing but pain. Hopefully soon I can find some fatal flaw with it or otherwise I might just have to *gasp* be happy with it!

You buy a pro to watch YouTube, very smart.

I bought it too for mostly low performance use cases, but this laptop is only a gimmick device. Nothing serious. Not a primary device. I never gamed on my RTX 3070 laptop.

The mbp 2021 is only a backup device (if i have to move or want watch some hdr high brightness content), rarely used (especially mobile).

Initially i had bought the gaming laptop to use it for my LG G1 in another room. But never used it :D. Recently i bought a 15 meter hdmi 2.1 fibre cable to connect it with my 3090. This long fibre cables never worked before with full bandwith and without flickering, so i bought this laptop. But i found 1 cable on the market from Primewire which is working at uhd 120 hz 10 bit. So the gaming laptop is obsolet. Otherwise i have Nvidia Shield Pro for streaming. But only at 60 hz :(.

I know all wasted money. I like to buy some toys. There is no need, but this pandemic is so boring :D.

If i want really game on laptops, i would definitely go for some RTX laptops with dlss feature to pimp up the lower performance mobile gpus.

Most are salesman on youtube and on website based "reviews". The people expect to get "verification" for their positive thinking, if you discus with them in forums, if you are questioning their thinking about a product or their purchase, they get angry. All they need is confirmation of their view.

Even when i paid 3850 Euros for this niche product, i can tell you all downsides are experienced. There are only a few benefits. I know it and i will never lie about it. The macbook pro 2021 is a green banana product which will barely maturing.

Buying something is for most very emotional. Positive emotions are the best trap for all the lemmings. Most of them are using youtube for information. If a company has all top listed youtubers in their hand, the sales will be much increased.

The most biased, popular youtube channel i know is linus tech tips. Really no real downsides for the presented product. It's a ..... advertising channel. Recent example. G9 Neo. Full of failures (most unfixable). Nothing from ltt. Only advertising this crappy product.

I don't understand why you continue to post in this forum. So you didn't like the MacBook Pro and returned it. That’s the end of your story here. You continuing to constantly post why you didn't and don't like it isn't serving anyone but your own need to complain. We all get it, you hate the new MacBook Pro's and returned yours. What else is there for you to say at this point? You obviously have the freedom to post whatever you want but I honestly don't know what purpose its serving except to just be negative.

Nope wrong, i returned all 16 gb models and bought a m1 max with 32 gb ram, because it was not enough for fast opening a lot browser tabs.

Yes, of course im mentioning the negative aspects of the mbp, i will not whitwash it.

I'm sure that most forum members will agree with me in that it is your attitude within this and other threads that is not liked. I have read these forums for years, decades even and there has been lots of finger pointing at apple by lots of member even me.

You on the other hand have a mocking attitude towards forum members, mac os users, reviewers and the new hardware. You are perceiving that people are angry because you are questioning their computer of choice. This is not the case. It is because you are rude in your discourse and nothing more. Your above statement is a perfect example of this.

If there is a genuine problem with a product the members here will jump on it and can often lead to both members understanding a problem and not purchasing said item or finding solutions to a problem that will hopefully be fixed by apple with a software update at a later date.

Was the original M1 product launch met favourable customer reviews? Yes. Did they have some problems? Again yes. Overall most people were happy when buying one of those computers.

You are giving baseless unsolicited opinion and not constructive criticism that perhaps potential customers of this new computer need.

Marques is one of the best tech reviewers out there. Video is his chosen medium, and he is very thorough and unbiased.

This YouTuber salesman really knows how to make people like you believe in him. He would use 1 or 2 sentences to mention the disadvantages of the product and make it sounds like not a big deal at all, then use the other 15 minutes to make a show about how good the stuff is.

I am sorry you are so cynical that you cannot appreciate somebody who is one of the best at their craft.

Maybe there are a lot of good things to talk about... thus he spends more time on those things?

It would be one thing if these new Macbooks were complete disasters with no redeemable qualities... and the reviewers were covering up major problems.

But no... these Macbooks are pretty damn good!

They're not perfect... of course... and reviewers do point out the flaws.

There are simply more good things than bad things.

But smarter people would think about this show arrangement twice. If there is no real critic in a review, sounds for them very fishy. I think people who have no clou about what they are buying are potential prey for this influencers.

I know that this M1 Pro has only single, niche use cases (battery life, hdr, static image quality, sound quality, some m1 optimized apple apps and noise levels, far away from an universal computer product). Many who using this laptops as their primary systems haven't an idea what they are buying. They got attracted by Apple brand and at least the salesmen :).

Clearly a troll post with nothing but insults.
Lots of easily verifyable wrong claims.

The tab problem has been proved in replies above. Your watch YouTube level thinking does not help.
Where has it been proved? In that Monterey memory leak video? I have the device in hand and have personally opened over 50 tabs with no slowdown. Everyone else here other than your alt account has said the same thing. Clearly it's not related to any hardware issues or limitations.

All you have done here is complain about nothing and regurgitate the same lines over and over again.
