Man those leather link bands are just total crap. They are comfortable and look good, but sweat just destroys them so fast.

I’ve seen posts suggesting people work out in the leather link bands. You shouldn’t be working out in any leather watch band, Apple or no. My green leather link band from a few years ago is still in mint condition

Wow what a great band. I really love the new milanese loops that Apple has designed for the Apple Watch Ultra. They fit so well and are feel fantastic. I've always liked the look of the milanese loop bands but I hated how they would constantly slide throughout the day with the magnet. The new Ultra bands stay in place perfectly. They are super comfortable and Apple wasn't kidding when they said you could wear them for anything. I train hard and worked out this morning wearing mine to see how it would feel and it was absolutely perfect. The way they connect it keeps the band perfectly in place and I love the look of the black version with my Black Ultra.

It did take me a few times to get the hang of getting it on and off but after I figured it out its super easy now. Easily my favorite band that they have made for the Ultra. Not sure what others opinions are, but I think that these bands are some of the best that Apple has ever made.
💯 I've given my GF this as a Christmas idea😊. I stopped by the Apple Store last weekend to try on the large "Natural" Titanium Milanese loop. Good fit for my 205mm wrist! I needed to check since Apple lists the large band at 210mm max for the large size.

I've got the Ultra 2 with the Trail Loop (Green/Grey)...love it! This along with all of my Sport Bands, Sport Loops, Braided Solo Loops....has my "casual" band collection taken care of. The Titanium Milanese loop is for when I want to dress things up a bit...but still keep things nice/casual!

I found it pulled on my hair about the same. It also seems a little rougher on the edges compared to the regular milanese loop. I have only had it on a few hours though. So far, it is nice, but I prefer the old regular one. It does look really nice though and it is very light weight.

Does the new Milanese black band fit the regular Apple Watches or just the ultra???

Got one with my Ultra 2 in black, but I'm a bit wary of using it currently.

Saw on a YouTube comment that the underside of someone's watch has been grated or something by resting the watch on it – paraphrasing, but something like that.

Have you had any scratching issues?
The DLC coated Milanese bands will scratch your apple watch. The other should not.

Is the new Milanese loop for the Ultra DLC? I looked on the Apple site, but can't see anything.
I am going to assume they match the watch body counterpart.
So natural Ti is uncoated.
Black is DLC
But this is just my guess.

I do not think it is DLC. The process is expensive. The “original” black Milanese band was/is DLC coated while the newer bands are not. DLC is the most durable, my series 7 SBTi still looks like new.

They do look fantastic and the clasp suits the Ultra.

Need to see the black one on a S10 Slate......

And for good measure, the natural titanium with the natural titanium 49MM milanese:

I’m curious about how the clasp actually attaches/releases. Do you press a button to release it, or somehow work those little arms?

It is a copy of the cobra buckle.
The small "ears" are for releasing, pull both at the same time, they are a kind of direct hook.
The rectangular "door" is for adjusting. Use your finger nail to pull one side up, the part underneath loosens up so that you can slide up and down the whole buckle along the band.

Went to Apple Store yesterday and tried on the black Ultra2 with Milanese strap, slate titanium 46mm and jet black 46mm. All were very nice and looked outstanding. Specialist did say the new Milanese strap was back ordered whether you try to purchase in store or order online when purchasing watch. $200 extra either way.. Was there getting free battery replacement on my S6 and checked out the new phones, watches and iPads. I will say I'm not a fan of the removal of the ceramic back on the new S10 watches. Back of the watch gets some serious sweat and grime unless you clean it daily. I remember the corrosion issue people had on the early AW and would be worried about pitting over time. Fortunately the Ultra2 still has the old desig which is a plus IMO

Valid concern with the aluminium models, but the titanium versions won’t be susceptible to corrosion.

I'm concerned with the anodizing failing also. it probably wouldn't harm the titanium but I wonder what it will look like if the coating wears off. For all I know they could of improved the coating process and it might never effect the aluminum watch either

I found the clasp to be difficult to work. Never fond of Milanese bands. Returned the ultra and went with the S10 Ti and put my Apple leather magnetic link on and am happy!
