Wow what a great band. I really love the new milanese loops that Apple has designed for the Apple Watch Ultra. They fit so well and are feel fantastic. I've always liked the look of the milanese loop bands but I hated how they would constantly slide throughout the day with the magnet. The new Ultra bands stay in place perfectly. They are super comfortable and Apple wasn't kidding when they said you could wear them for anything. I train hard and worked out this morning wearing mine to see how it would feel and it was absolutely perfect. The way they connect it keeps the band perfectly in place and I love the look of the black version with my Black Ultra.

It did take me a few times to get the hang of getting it on and off but after I figured it out its super easy now. Easily my favorite band that they have made for the Ultra. Not sure what others opinions are, but I think that these bands are some of the best that Apple has ever made.
This makes me very happy hear! I want to trade in my gen 1 Ultra for an Ultra 2 in black but go with the Milanese loop. I work out a lot, Lifting, running, cycling and I do not change my bands, still using my original ocean band after 2 years. I just want something that just stays in place and is comfortable.

Just picked up the band at my local Apple Store and first impressions are that it’s super light. Any of you guys going to wear this daily? I want to buy not sure if it should be reserved for more formal occasions.

For me I considering whether to keep the Milanese loop for AW U2 in Satin Black. The buckle gives me fits trying to clasp it and adjusting it is not easy.

Saw someone else posting this on my local forum and think you guys may want to know. Only few days in and one screw broke off itself. I think the watch didn't fly off since the other hook is still there.

I think there would be widespread reports of these breaking if there was a problem with them. I play beach volleyball competitively every weekend and have never taken it off and it still looks great. With anything that has parts, some of them are bound to have manufacturing defects.

Yea this looks like an one-off. You see the stud / hinge (actually not a screw) that broke off, it looks slightly deformed or the bottom part is missing in this photo. With normal wearing, the force that is exerted on the buckle would be almost entirely to the direction that the hooks are holding. The poster of this photo didn't say he crashed this buckle part against something or not, but it doesn't look like any impact has happened, it is the part itself not holding up.

Regardless, I'd consider this band not being the most structurally sound, even just for this one example happening. Those parts are way too small and filmsy.

I think the new band looks great. But i don't like that it doesn't glide as smoothly through the loop as the steel milanese band.

Did you try the black one or natural ? Cause I’ve noticed the black one doesn’t glide as smooth as the natural one.

Black. The surface is less smooth, can feel it on the watch. That’s likely why. Not coarse or anything but just not as smooth as the natural ti.

Saw a great deal on one of these new / unsealed £99 so I snapped it up and it’s arriving tomorrow. Only issue is its the large size. I have 180mm wrists which is the start of the large size range, if it’s big does it just mean the buckle will sit to the side of the wrist rather than at the center?

Good to hear, I have an AWU2 with Ti Milanese loop (natural) due for delivery Tues.
I really hoped the new Ti milanese loop was a do it all band and sounds like it is.
I was looking for a band that's comfortable enough to sleep in, tough enough to do physical activity in and dressy enough to wear to work in a sort of business casual setting.

Im right about 180mm too so interested how you get on with the fit. Please can you update us. Currently got a medium on order which covers upto 185mm but hoping there's a decent amount of leeway as my wrist does swell in warmer weather.

Has anyone tried swimming with the Milanese loop to let us know if they had any issues?

Fits great although it depends where you want the buckle, I think large is perfect as the buckle sits to the side of the lower part of the wrist rather than central - as you’d expect with a traditional watch, so it balances out well, loads of adjustment too.

wow. I was considering getting this for swimming as well, but seeing there are springs in there, I doubt the springs are titanium and may rust over the long haul

Mine arrives in nov. Might be hard to top the ocean band for me. I have 3 ocean bands and love them. Wore the ocean navy everyday for 3 years and not the slightest sign of wear. So comfy I hardly feel I’m wearing an ultra.

Picked mine up at the Shinsaibashi Apple Store on Wednesday. I'm a size 5 on my Solo loop and the Medium fits perfectly for me - the buckle is about 2/3 closer to the smaller edge.

My medium came in later on yesterday. My wrist goes between 175mm-180mm and I’m happy with the fit. The buckle is fairly central on my wrist

Not fond of the Milanese bands. My Nomad titanium band will be here on Tuesday. It cost more but is a more comfortable band in my opinion.
