I pre-ordered my iPhone X on the verizon website and received 11/3 delivery. However, it didn't list an option to buy apple care.

Can I still purchase apple care from the Apple Store after I receive my phone???

You sure can. You can call Apple and do it over the phone within 30 days.

View attachment 728681 I submitted my order at 310 ET, and got an estimated ship date of 11/15. On the website, I still see “order is being processed” with no date. The app shows 11/15. Sounds like most people that early got a shipping date of 11/3. So will the “processing” and “pending” notices keep up until shipping? I keep hoping to see an earlier date...

I have a saved card which is the one I use to pay the bill but for some reason there is a mother card that I don't remember having and they will charge that one

Are you sure the one they will charge is not an older card of yours? If it isn't, best get back on the phone with Verizon to get it sorted.

I didn't recognize it and husband says he can't remember that number. I have to call tomorrow since they are closed

My card was just charged. I ordered a 256gb space gray within the first 5 minute and got an 11/3 delivery date. The order status page still says 'processing'.

60 days from when the phone is activated is what apple told me directly.

My card got charged around 6PM CST today. Well, first it was declined since Chase thought it wasn't me but I sorted it out in minutes and had it charged.

Ooookay.. so I asked Verizon to add the letter "E" on my apartment number for the shipping address, and so they changed it and said that I would be able to retain my Nov. 3 delivery date, however with the new confirmation email that they gave me, it now shows Dec. 13. Not happy with this.

Weird. They changed my address but since they didn't make a new order I was told I couldn't get a new confirmation email (she gave me a link to our chat records as confirmation). Sounds like if you got a new confirmation email that they cancelled and made a new order for you :\

Does everyone get charged for tax when they start shipping? Mine said 0 and now I'm worried because somehow they have a card I don't use anymore saved for payment ugh. Also on the email I got it says payment type IE. I have no clue what the means

I was charged today around 5 MST. Preordered at 12:56 MST and got my confirmation email at 12:57 MST

And paid with a Debit MasterCard from my local Credit Union.

Also ordered thru the MyVerizon app too.

The tax is charged at the time of purchase. That is the case for all, as far as I know. The activation fee is what you will see on the next bill, which may or may not be prorated.

My card was charged for $102.10. $72.10 for sales tax which leaves $30 for upgrade. Not sure why but it looks like they did charge me for the upgrade already..

They did. When I told the customer rep that he said that was normal and that I would still get the phone 11/3. That proved to be a lie.

Apparently they did which is what I told the rep not to do at the very beginning of our conversation. It is very, very, frustrating.

Yes, I would say though having a good portion going with the 8, and having an extra month to manufacture the X helps though.
