My card was charged for $102.10. $72.10 for sales tax which leaves $30 for upgrade. Not sure why but it looks like they did charge me for the upgrade already..

That's exactly what they do. Both should be charged at the same time. For me, my 7% sales tax was the purchase price of the phone + the $30 fee. So not only will I be charge for both, but the sales tax was calculated by combining both of them.

Iphone: $1149
Upgrade Fee: $30
Subtotal: $1179
7% Sales Tax: $82.53...rounded up to $82.60
Total: $112.60 (Sales Tax + Fee)

I have a 12/1 delivery date. What's a good guess VZ will ship it sooner? They're really good at bumping up dates. Last year I ordered the jet black 7+ on 11/19 with a delivery date of 11/30, but it was shipped out two days later on 11/21!

Last year I preordered the jet black 7+ and it said 10/5, but I got it on 9/27. Still not launch day but less than a week after and sooner than I expected, so I was happy.

I pre-ordered my iPhone X on the verizon website and received 11/3 delivery. However, it didn't list an option to buy apple care.

Can I still purchase apple care from the Apple Store after I receive my phone???

You can go into the store or call them. If you call they will run a diagnostic on the phone and let you buy AppleCare. I call and buy AppleCare every year it is quick and easy.

Has anyone with a 11/3 date who paid with a debit card been charged yet? I got my email confirmation at 2:00 am central and I still haven’t been charged.

My debit card was charged around 5pm (central). Paid in full using verizon website minutes after ordering went live.

Thank you! Mine says this. Im just worried they will charge me tax and that card they selected bounces. Im scared to tell them to change the card because then they will cancel order. I'm just now sure id they will charge or not ugh

I got the glitch and placed my order 40 minutes prior to official preorder opening (1:18 CT confirmation email) and my card just got charged. I don't think Verizon would cancel these orders. It's money for them either way.

Why are most of u already gotten CC charged while my order is still stuck in the processing status? I pre-rdered 10mins past midnight on the 27th via Verizon app. Are there people out there still waiting on order to be completed like myself?

This is the third Apple preorder in which I’ve participated. iPhone 7 Plus, Apple Watch Series 3 and iPhone X. All thru Verizon’s site. So far they have used FedEx as their carrier for my deliveries. One tip that might be useful to some is to sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager. It is free and I’ve discovered you might get a tracking number even before Verizon updates their page.

I just checked and it is now called My FedEx Rewards. No tracking number yet for my iPhone X but my card was charged.

Overall just another page to look to help quell our anxiety during this week!
