I got my order in at 3:01 AM, Wells Fargo put my card on hold due to the amount of the order so was never charged. Had to remove that and then speak to Verizon to get them to re run it late Saturday night. The rep I spoke to this morning initially said I shouldn't have any worries but later when I asked about shipping specifics she said it looks like it'll leave the warehouse on the 3rd but wait out for an confirmation email. So now I'm not sure I'll get mine on launch day.
 
looking good here. Just checked and my card was charged yesterday.

Ordered an iPhone X, SG, 256 GB on Verizon website at 2:50 EST and had email confirmation at 2:55. Still shows processing currently. The order status page updated its layout after charge. Still shows 11/03 delivery.
 
If your credit card does not process due to suspected fraud or any other reason you may want to read this.

Email preorder confirmation received at 1:58am central with delivery date of 11/3. Got a text from my credit card company yesterday at 5:17pm of suspected fraud. Replied one to allow the transaction then I called Verizon wireless to have them reprocess the order. They said the only way to rerun the order is to cancel and reorder. I said absolutely not I need to speak to a manager or tier one support. Tier one told me that the only way it is possible is to have the credit card company rerun the transaction. All she can do is cancel and reorder. She took my number and said she would call me back between 7 and 730pm to see what the credit card company would do. Called the credit card company there was no way for them to reprocess the order said I had to contact Verizon and have them rerun the transaction again. At this point I think it is worthless to contact Verizon again for they have already told me they can’t do anything. So I waited until 7:45 for the Verizon rep to call back and she never did. So I decided to contact Verizon one last time just to pretty much tell them how disappointed I was and they would be losing a 21 year customer. Talked to a very nice tier 1 support rep. I was on the phone with her for 45 minutes she was telling me the same thing the previous reps had said. She kept trying and looking at different things. Saying the last thing we need to do is cancel this order. Finally she said let me try one more thing. She put me on hold for the 5th time. Few minutes she came back and said I am going to call over to the Internet order processing department. They were able to rerun my order and even change the credit card used no problem. Payment processed immediately and I was able to keep my November 3 ship date. It took hours but there is a way they can rerun your card without canceling and reordering.

Maybe this will help someone else who has a payment issue.
 
Yes! 1 our of 3 orders was shipped. There is no tracking number, but says it estimated to arrive 10/30/17. I can’t believe that estimated deivery!
I was told the same by a verizon rep then another told me it would ship to carrier on that date hen 11/3 to my place

If history repeats from the 7+ preorder - the charge happens, the phone ships that Monday. You might not receive an email of shipping until Tuesday.

Also the credit cards are being charged as boxes are opened. 256GB in both colors seemed to have gotten charged yesterday. It will change day by day, wave by wave - the colors will go in rotation as well as storage.

In the past phones/orders ship as late as Thursday morning for launch day orders so be as patient as possible.

Resist the urge to call Verizon on your order unless absolutely necessary - You dont WANT reps in your order if they dont have to be.

I even try to avoid the email/order page since it has a link to cancel.

Good News we are on the countdown - I hope Apple never staggers a launch again

I had the same issue. Went through three different reps and finally got to an internet supervisor. Received an email to update billing information and reentered my card after approving the charge through American Express. The first two reps I talked to you could not find my order and said it had been canceled.

I called and mine said it didn't give them the option to change card. She said it showed I will be charged 0 so nothing will be charged until next bill but don't know how much to believe them ugh

Just for the record, the last 2 launches I did not getting any sign of shipping until Wednesday, on either Verizon site or Fedex site. But my phones still got here by the first delivery day.
