Yep. Can purchase up to 30 days from what I understand

Via Verizon website, ordered 8+ gold 64 gig. Delivery 9/22 listed in email confirmation.

Oddly, the 8+ web page wouldn't open in Chrome even after clearing cache and restarting Chrome. It's throwing an exception in some of their javascript. The 8+ web page worked fine in IE 11 though.

Well that was a comedy of errors. Page wouldn't load on chrome, had to use Safari. Get order in, won't let me change shipping address, they have wrong address listed. Change address, but have to update credit card address (just moved last Friday). Update bank address, try to purchase, denied - wrong address. Try using gift card - denied, says gift card empty ( it's not ). Try credit card again - works.

Got it in a good 15 minutes late but have a 64 8+ grey coming on 9/22

Looks like they sorted out the javascript file problem, the 8+ page opens in Chrome ok now.
