Did it send you a receipt? I can't remember last year if I got one right away or not and I haven't received one yet.
Have not receive one too
[doublepost=1505462539][/doublepost]Preordered using the app at 3am iphone 8plus gold 256gb but everytime i go to the next page an error appears so i kept trying until i went to the check out part. No problems at all after that. Stopped and decided to use the pc and checked their website and tried it to preorder but everytime giving me different prices for check out. Its crazy and gave me confusion. So i decided to just click the place order on the verizon app and im done. So advice for those who have not ordered yet, use the verizon app. Ok gotta sleep. Happy preordering!!! The waiting game has begun!

This is my third year preordering and had my first problem. Probably a pre-order day glitch. I went to preorder on the website, I got in early like most did. I was upgrading two phones on the plan. The first one went well. Then it asked which phone for the second line. And then on the capacity and payment plan page it wasn't calculating a 24 monthly payment price and when I went to check out it was charging me full price for the second phone. I tried multiple browsers and even another computer and it was the same thing. So I had to do the live chat with a rep which took about an hour to complete. But they were able to place the order on their end. Just hope it didn't hinder my delivery date. Confirmation email says "deliver by 9/22" so I'll expect it to show up then unless otherwise alerted. Replacing iPhone 7+ 128gb matte black and jet black with 8+ space gray 256gb. :)

There are going to be a BOAT LOAD of folks six weeks from now royally pissed when their ship dates go into March.....just saying...perhaps APRIL

But also since apple is holding pre orders till October 27th I believe that there will be a reasonable amount of inventory. It won't be any harder to get one, then it was last year with the Jet Black iPhone 7/7+.

I was able to successfully preorder for myself and several family members, but for my girlfriend I couldn't. She has the Apple Upgrade Program, and when I got to the page where I had to enter her carrier information, I got this error message: "The phone number you entered cannot be upgraded. This may be due to a feature, line, or device change pending on your account. Please contact Verizon at 1-888-866-6924 for more information."

I have confirmed with both Verizon and Apple that she is eligible for an upgrade. Has anyone else received such an error message? I'm completely stuck.

Ordered a space gray 64gb 8 about 40 mins ago (6:45am EST). Expected delivery date still 9/22. I wasn’t planning on getting it yet since I just got my 7 in March or April (thought I could live with an SE...ha!) but when it said I’d only have to pay $81.09 I was all in. Plus we’re still on the plan that credits $25/mo for having a device payment agreement, so I’d get it eventually anyway. I’m happy because I just hate having this white (silver) phone, lol.

Almost Sad to see almost every model still available at 7:30am. Never happened on any preorder I have ever watched before. Bet I won't see my X till next year sometime.

Was never able to order through the website so I tried the app, that process went fairly smooth. To this point, I still have not received a confirmation email (I guess it could take up to 24 hours receive it) but when I go to my account, it shows my order and expected delivery for Sept 22. I have seen several people post on here that they have not received confirmation emails either. Maybe those are slow to go out this time but I remember the last 3 pre-orders, I got my email within the hour of ordering. How was everyone's pre-order experience?

Oh and I got 3 hours sleep lol

i have yet to receive my confirmation email either. my guess is that the email server is just back up and confirmation emails will trickle out throughout the day. like you, i can also see my order in my verizon account, so in theory, everything should be fine.

$300 for trade-in with iPhone 7 sucks big time.
Last year, they took the iPhone6 and gave 24 equal monthly payments for iPhone 7 and now just $300?
This is an insult and a joke. 20+ year Verizon customer with 2 iPhones ready to jump ship. Especially after last years promotion. I could have received $140 for my phone yesterday. BIG promotion... Big Time Bad move I think.

Verizon's site is advertising "up to" $300 off a new iPhone 8 with a trade-in when you switch to the unlimited plan. The credit is spread over 24 months on a new device payment plan (meaning you won't get the full $300 if you don't keep the new device for 24 months).

Which is ridiculous, because the VZW site says my paid-off iPhone 7 is worth $345 by itself if I trade it in (nothing to do with this promotion). So trade my phone in for $345 and keep my current 8GB plan or take this promotion and get $300 spread over 24 months and be forced into the unlimited plan which I don't need. Hmmmm...
Should be called a NON promotion...

I wouldn’t pay more than $300, maybe not even that much, for a year old tech item that has been carried around by a germ excreting meat sack, year worth of wear, battery cycles, and last tears cpu tech.

Would you? And they still have to turn around and sell it to someone else at a profit.

Anyone on the old Verizon More Everything Plan?

The plan where your line access is $15, but if you try to upgrade now using their 2 year contract, it will up it to $40 for line access (like an old contract plan) AND you still have to pay for the phone monthly?

Whats the best way to bypass this? Buy a sim-less phone from Apple and do it that way, so the $15 line access remains? Will buying it full price from verizon.com also work?

iPhones are not an investment. Stop thinking of them as such, and reality won’t look so bad.

But last year it was a FREE trade in 6 to 7...

Sell your phones to Europeans on eBay, people!! You'll get even more for it than you paid in some cases.

We'll have my first issue with my preorder. I put in a suite number for the shipping address as it is going to work but it's not showing up on my receipt. Lol. Guess we will see how that turns out.

Address verification/autocomplete often over-writes suite numbers with Verizon for some reason, been doing that for years to me.

I'm on a More Everything Business Plan. I was going to switch us to the Unlimited, but I would lose my 22% discount and that would cause my plan to jump quite a bit. I have to replace one employee's phone this cycle because the earpiece on his 6s is muffled and he pretty much has to use the speaker phone or bluetooth right now. I'm paying $40 a month access fee for that phone. That phone's contract (it was purchased under the 2 year agreement because Verizon didn't offer the payment plans for business at that time) is up next week. When I purchased my 7 last year, under the payment plan, my line access fee dropped to $15 from $40 and then you have to add the cost of the phone. Are you saying that when I replace this employee's phone this year that I will have to pay the full monthly payment price of the phone and still pay $40 a month instead of it dropping to $15? If that's the case, I think Verizon may end up in my rear window.

That is exactly what i am saying.

They want people off the plan. They removed that $25 discount line access (it'll stay if you don't do any plan changing), so if you upgrade under their payment plan it will jump up to $40 and still have to pay for the phone over 24 months. I think it went into effect earlier this year.

However if you buy the phone in full off verizon.com, it appears the $15 line access remains. It's just on payment plan that it will jump up.

I just tested both scenarios off their site, and its doing what i am saying.

Is it possible for me to walk in and pick one up next Friday? I am going on a trip starting next Sunday and wanted to Pre-order for delivery on Friday but Pre-Orders are now being delivered the week of the 29th.
