Mine still shows $15. I don't think it should change unless you change your plan
I ordered as soon as pre orders went live. I still have not received my confirmation either but if I go to my account, I see that the order is there and expected delivery is 9/22. I saw that there were several people that did not receive their confirmation email either. It might take 24 hours before it shows up.
Hmmm, so i have been alot of test runs on my account with this.
So I have 5 lines, all $15 each. For 3 of them if i upgrade it'll say my line will become $40, and for 2 of them, it'll stay $15.
Not sure what to do now. I'll probably upgrade using one of the 2 lines i guess.
When you were checking out, did it say $15 or $40?
Can anyone confirm if the sim cards are the same for this version of the phone as they are for the 6s? I plan on simply popping in my sim from my 6s on my 8 Plus when it arrives. Should there be any problems with this?
Same here, order time stamp is around 2:59am EST, but I have not yet received a confirm email. I can see the order status though when I check online
I have confusion with my plan as well because my employer still allows me to do the $249 for a 2 year contract, but the other phone on my line got chosen with the monthly payment plan. As long as it's not too much more than what I was paying I'm fine, but I'm having the opposite issue as some people here. Got an e-mail confirmation at 12:06 AM with a 9/22 ship date but I can't view the order on my account. When I login the notification shows up that it's there, but I click on it for the status and get a website error. Hoping that's just a website issue and not a problem with my order.

Right now it does still show $15 line access in my account; however, on that same screen it still shows my current payment agreement so hopefully it doesn’t go up once my 8 is shipped/activated. My IT guy was asleep at the wheel and didn't place our orders until about 12:30PM PST. Estimated delivery of my Space Gray 256 8+ is 9/29.
They claim its to cover fees of activting ppl.
But theyre not doing anything its automated....
I honestly don't remember what it said at checkout. It gave the option of changing my plan but I just chose to stick with the same one and so nothing should change. I may try calling later to confirm this.

I made my order as well. I had 3 month worth of bill to pay on my line so i paid that off and bought an 8+ Gold.
Can't wait.
Last year they didn't send confirmation emails you just had to keep checking your Verizon account
I ordered the 8+ gold as well! Just got confirmation email from Verizon. Everything went much smoother this year at checkout. Last year it took me 45 min to get my order through. This year it only took minutes. Hopefully we all get our pretty new phones on Friday!
My confirmation email came at 3:44pm EST. I placed my order at 3:04am EST for reference. Confirmation emails are probably just trickling out to everyone.
I have a confirmation email from last year. I just checked my gmail - I have an email from Verizon on 9.9.2016 confirming my preorder.
Perhaps you just never received the email for whatever reason.

Same here. But I got my order in before midnight before the rush started. It seems that I'm able to get into the Verizon preorder 5+ minutes early every year if I just refresh various pages on their site like crazy.
It did seem like the Verizon site opened preorders super early this year I was on at 1:55 am CST and the link was already up
Yep. This was definitely the case last year and I *believe* the year before that as well (although I'm having trouble remembering that far back). Last year I think I got in about 12-15 minutes early and I was finished with my order about 10 minutes before midnight!
It would be robbery if Verizon took the $30.00 from you and said fee was never disclosed to you in the user agreement.
In regards to the fee, I don't like it either. That is one of the reasons I will be buying directly from Apple.
Tried ordering on app works fine, website sucks.. kept switching different prices.
