I’m calling Verizon back to cancel the address change. The fedex person told me it was going to delay it because they will send it to the first destination and once it is there they will relabel it and then forward it on to the next address. That’s probably why they said it would be delayed.

Ordered two iPhone X's Space Gray 256GB on 10/27/17. Mine completed at completed at 2:57 AM EST, 11/3 delivery & my husband's completed at 3:16 AM EST, estimated delivery date 11/10.

Card charged late yesterday afternoon for both. Oddly, my husbands (11/10 Delivery) shipped already & mine (11/3) is still "Preparing to ship" Hoping I'm still getting mine on time.

Good luck to everyone with a later shipping date, I'm sure you will get your phones early!

This is what's perplexing me. I'm in the same boat. A friend of mine who has 11/10 delivery, same exact phone config and got bumped up to 11/3 with shipping info. I'm just hoping Verizon will not screw this up.

I know I know... It's just a phone. But it still gets you anxious when you're expecting to have a very much anticipated toy exactly when it was promised to you and they just keep you waiting... and waiting... and waiting.

This is exactly what I've been saying all week on here. But Verizon told me that they have my new address on file and still said it's going to be November 3rd. And I have written documentation that they guaranteed me even after the address change that I will get it on November 3rd, so any delay, they will be hearing from me :D

I gave the whole thing a shot earlier but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I'm going to work remotely in the morning and hopefully it arrives before noon. I know it says before 3PM but Fedex usually arrives in the morning in my experience.

Good idea! The only issue with me, is that it is going to an old address in a completely different state, so I kinda had to go through the hassle :( It's ok though, I can wait a couple more days tops as opposed to a whole month lol Main thing though is that Verizon in writing guaranteed me, so hopefully they're not wrong! haha

Yeah I almost didn’t do it because my parents are coming into town anyways but I wanted it earlier. Now Verizon is trying to tell me they can’t just cancel the first request that they have to put another one in and it could delay it even further. Stupid.
 
What have you guys been using for your reference number? Phone number or order number?

im in the same boat, the black 256gb i ordered after the first one has a tracking number. My phone is still processing. My card was charged this morning so it cant be too far along now. If it doesn't ship by tomorrow im gonna call verizon again.

I will once the phone moves from Memphis. I talked to a FedEx supervisor that saw in the system it was requested for pickup Friday by Verizon at 11:33am for me to pickup. He said once it heads to the destination terminal that it will update showing so. Because I questioned it all because it wasn’t showing. So once it is headed to Pittsburgh or gets scanned in Pittsburgh I will definitely post that. Like I said I have done this every year. But you always get so many different responses and have to call back. It’s frustrating.

Cool, thanks! I considering doing the same but am worried it will may screws things up and I won’t be able to pickup and won’t be delivered Friday.

Yeah I'd imagine there will be lots of movement tomorrow. Will probably be shipped to local FedEx hubs/stores so that they can be put on the trucks Friday morning.

Let's hope at least!

CC charged at 7:44pm CDT yesterday but still not shipped. 64GB Space Gray. Was given 11/3 delivery in confirmation at 2:05.
 
I'm in Middleton, WI. Shipping from PA. Yours? Mine shows it left PA yesterday morning at 5 am and hasnt shown up at the next stop yet.

I work in Middleton and that is where mine is shipping to. Mine is currently in Memphis. 256 SG
 
It's been a while since I worked there, but for those needing VzW to request a hold for pick-up, you can call Customer Service, explain your situation, and ask for an ITTS ticket to request that FedEx hold the package for the pick-up. They may have changed the name of the system; when I worked there, that what it was called and where we could go to make requests of the shipper. Otherwise, you'll wait have to wait for FedEx to make a delivery attempt before more options become available.

I got my address changed on an ITTS ticket so that is still the term.

I got my address changed on an ITTS ticket so that is still the term.
Beware unless your new address is at the same destination facility it will probably be delayed. I called and talked to fedex and they told me it would go to the first destination sorting facility and then get a new label and get sent to the new address. So expect a delay.

The person that orginally mentioned such ticket was referring to arranging for pickup up instead of delivery.
