Great...mine went from 3pm-8pm...AND NOW SHOWS TO MY ORIGINAL ADDRESS ‍♂️ I don’t think I’m getting this phone until next week.

If the address is wrong call Verizon they should be able to change it right away. Just had to deal with a wrong address a few weeks back. Called Fedex and they wouldn't do anything. I had to call the vendor and then they called fedex and had the address change for me. Something about only the sender could change the address. Hope this helps

Woke up to a shipping number automatically appearing in my FedEx app. Says Standard overnight by 8 pm, same thing my mom’s iPhone said during the 8/8+ launch. FedEx driver came at 10am that day.

Same here. Called Verizon to have the address changed. They changed it, gave the usual "no promises" disclaimer, and gave me a support ticket #. My dad called back a couple of days ago to see if both iPhones we ordered were in the same box or not (long story short: they have no idea), and they told him the package(s?) were coming to the new address that the order was changed to. Well, overnight FedEx updated the order to show the destination address (wasn't showing before), and it shows the original (wrong) address. Not sure if the address couldn't be changed, if Verizon will send the new details to FedEx later today, or if FedEx hasn't updated their system with new addresses yet. Pretty frustrating, since Verizon confirmed the address was changed. It seems like nothing is certain with these preorders.

I already did this and they confirmed it’s going to my correct address, but now I’m going to call again to the CORE department to see if they can fix it again.

This is basically my exact same situation!

This is good to see. I woke up to my delivery window updating from before 3pm to 8pm on 11/3

It's 2-day. That's why I'm pissed that it's still not out yet and nothing comes up on FedEx Tracking by Reference.

Listen dude Apple is sending out millions of iPhones across the nation using FedEx! It is all set up so it gets to you on Friday it does not matter if it says overnight shipping two day shipping or 75 million day shipping if it says it will be there Friday it will be quit worrying

Everyone did

Yup mine flipped to ‘by 8pm’ as well overnight. No big deal.

If I can recall prior years, in my area it’s typcially 3-5pm on iPhone launch days.

Yes, you can. I’ve even used a piece of paper that said please leave package. I put the date on it and signed my name. I’ve never had an issue.

Like I said before, all depends on the driver. Mine is subpar and very lazy - tosses my stuff in my shrubs in landscaping and doesn’t even ring door bell nor does he use plastic when it is raining. I guarantee mine would see that note and keep driving and mark it as ‘delivery unsuccessful’ and not even leave a hang tag.

I literally have to sit in the front room tomorrow with windows open with one eye out the window for 12 HRs. Not even exaggerating. At least he rings once and waits 5 secs if a signature is required.....

If you track it, does everyone’s say “Shipment information sent to FedEx”?? Or does yours?? Mine says that, and I’m thinking it could mean that’s my new address info being “sent to them” before it officially takes off tonight??

Hey, for anyone worrying about their delivery time moving to “By 8pm”, here’s the visual of what my mom’s 8+ travel history looked like. And it seems our Location Code E248201 corresponds with West Chester, PA

Mine said the same thing this morning, I did not do any changes

Anyone have a flight number for FedEx going out of Newark today? Not sure if they will fly to Memphis then distribute from there.

I just called Verizon. They called FexEx and confirmed, even though the tracking page on the FedEx website says the old address, in fact, the shipment is coming to my new address. They were very confident of this. Perhaps you should give them a call.

EDIT: Once I got the tracking #, nothing has changed except for rescans.

EDIT 2: Now, I am seeing "Shipment information sent to FedEx" that came in around 4:15am. Didn't see this a few minutes ago.

I’m not really concerned with making more on it. And I’m fairly leery of seeling stuff online (even with eBay’s fairly high success model and seller/buter protections in place). Going to Gamestop simply serves as instant gratification (no listing, negotiations/haggling, online fees, no risk of having to meet some stranger, etc). Gamestop gives me the cash right then and there and I’m out the door and on my merry way.

Good plan. Straight cash homie!

Thank you for this info! I just called the CORE department at Verizon, they said the same thing to me! Then I called FedEx to confirm, and they said the ticket is open and is coming to me tomorrow! I love how everyone is basically just like "completely disregard our website, it sucks, don't look at who it's going to technically because it's wrong" -_- lol

I’m a little worried because I have two separate orders (one for wife’s phone at 11:55, another for mine at 12:00), but they both show the exact same tracking # on Verizon. I thought maybe they bundled them up into one package, but now that fedex has updated the package information, it says it is only 1 “piece” and the package weighs 3 lbs which sounds like just one phone.

I got two separate charges on my CC and Verizon shows both orders as shipped, but only one tracking # associated to both orders. Anyone else have a similar issue?

That’s two phones. My package only weighs 2 lbs.

Mine also changed to delivery by 8pm instead of 3pm. I am just worried that it is still sitting in Memphis! Move already.

I think I found my FedEx flight and it won’t even be arriving in my city until 5:09am tomorrow. Right on time to go out for delivery.

Mine is 2lbs as well and I only ordered one phone. The phone weights 6.14 ounces (174 grams). So, if your package is more than that, then most likely, they were smart enough to figure out there were 2 packages going to the same place and saved themselves some money on shipping. lol

So basically, if we've called in a new address, disregard what FedEx website says?
