still waiting for my order to ship. charged Halloween night, still processing, was a ship by 11/3 order. Everyone in the same boat, quote and repost this so we can get a tally.
 
I have the same changes as everyone else. Info sent and time changed to 8pm from 3pm. looking good. My FedEx guy has always delivered between 11am-2pm even on iPhone day. Can't wait!

This is probably old information but I'll post any way. I noticed that the FedEX delivery manager no longer is greying out delivery customization for my delivery for tomorrow. I can change delivery address, request to hold and pickup later, etc. It has been greyed out up until this morning.

Moved from by 3pm to by 8pm but I think we’re still going to get them when our FedEx person usually delivers. One more sleep!

That’s two phones. My package only weighs 2 lbs.

Mine is 2lbs as well and I only ordered one phone. The phone weights 6.14 ounces (174 grams). So, if your package is more than that, then most likely, they were smart enough to figure out there were 2 packages going to the same place and saved themselves some money on shipping. lol

I’m a little worried because I have two separate orders (one for wife’s phone at 11:55, another for mine at 12:00), but they both show the exact same tracking # on Verizon. I thought maybe they bundled them up into one package, but now that fedex has updated the package information, it says it is only 1 “piece” and the package weighs 3 lbs which sounds like just one phone.

I got two separate charges on my CC and Verizon shows both orders as shipped, but only one tracking # associated to both orders. Anyone else have a similar issue?


My package is 3lbs too, which the Verizon rep I spoke to said was heavier than it should be for just one phone. So, I am almost certain both phones are in the same package.

My customize delivery option is grayed out still, eh. I have a shipment release form that has a signature so I'm good. I should be home tomorrow anyways doing final wedding stuff for Sunday.
 
Found my FedEx flight too. Coming to Billings at 5pm this afternoon. That’s still a 6 hour drive from me but at least it’s in my state! :)

My phone is beginning to move out of Memphis...
:)

I don't expect mine to move from Memphis until about 4:30am on 11/3 although it's a 11/3 delivery! All my FedEX orders from the past that come from Memphis always leave Memphis at 4:30am on a flight to me over a 1,000 miles away. It arrives in my town in time to be placed on a delivery truck at 8:30 am. Then the delivery man always arrive around 12 noon. It always goes like that.
 
Guys my Customize Shipment button is now purple... and I haven’t signed up for anything extra on FedEx.com just a heads up to everyone to check the website tracking. And my shipment time only moved from by 4:00 to by 4:30....

Figured id share this...

Here's the story:

-Ordered friday morning, got an 11/3 delivery date for 2 Silver 256's.
-Order was pending
-charge attempted 10/31 flagged for fraud
-fixed that issue and payed successfully
-order now processing
-set up fedex delivery manager and see my delivery from verizon, however it shows cancelled.
-note says verizon said to void the shipment
-called verizon, cust rep said all looks good and the order was released to the warehouse
-no tracking on their end

Next steps (since i'm stuck in meetings all morning)
-call fedex to see what's up?
- vzw cust rep said i should be fine, but the cancelled shipment makes me nervous!

My Customize button turned purple as well but it won't let me do the good stuff.

My order disappeared off the app last night too (It has previously said 'Estimated ship date 11/3'), woke up this morning and tracked it and it's marked as shipped. I have a fedex overnight tracking number, but currently it just says 'label generated' - but thats good news! Same shipping window everyone else (until 8pm on 11/3).

For those of you changing address after shipping, Verizon can't guarantee the change of address, and this isn't on them, it's FedEx. Once a shipment has been submitted to FedEx, the shipper can request a change of address, but this just means FedEx customer service leaves a virtual note on the package, and unless the receiving terminal in the destination area actually reads the note (which is in my 5+ years experience of shipping with FedEx is at best 50:50) the package will end up being delivered to the address on the original shipping label. Your best bet is to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and try to reach your local terminal to make sure they got the instructions to redirect the package.
