The customize delivery button is activated for me now, but the option to hold for pickup or anything useful is still greyed out.
 
Figured id share this...

Here's the story:

-Ordered friday morning, got an 11/3 delivery date for 2 Silver 256's.
-Order was pending
-charge attempted 10/31 flagged for fraud
-fixed that issue and payed successfully
-order now processing
-set up fedex delivery manager and see my delivery from verizon, however it shows cancelled.
-note says verizon said to void the shipment
-called verizon, cust rep said all looks good and the order was released to the warehouse
-no tracking on their end

Next steps (since i'm stuck in meetings all morning)
-call fedex to see what's up?
- vzw cust rep said i should be fine, but the cancelled shipment makes me nervous!

update! while sitting in one of my meetings i noticed a new label was sent to fedex for delivery tomorrow! thank god. app still shows processing but at least i have the tracking number now!

I noticed that too. I got excited for a second and thought I was going to be able to hold for pickup

So mine got a couple updates. Now some of the options are highlighted in purple. But it went from deliver by 3pm to deliver by 8pm. Not that concerned because they usually arrive by about 3pm anyways in my neighborhood. If they do successfully hold the package however, I’ll go pick it up first thing in the morning. The local fedex hub actually called me. They seem like they may attempt to hold it for me. I told them if they had to attempt delivery first, that was fine, I don’t want the package delayed. I’d like to have it Friday.
 
sooooo i just checked on verizons website on a desktop and my delivery date disappeared what does this mean?!

edit: im 11/15 date btw
 
This is probably old information but I'll post any way. I noticed that the FedEX delivery manager no longer is greying out delivery customization for my delivery for tomorrow. I can change delivery address, request to hold and pickup later, etc. It has been greyed out up until this morning.

If you try it won’t actually allow to hold for pickup though.
 
Did anyone else’s shipping thing change? My phone is still in Memphis. But it used to stay “Deliver by 3:00 PM” but now it says “Deliver by 8:00 PM”.
Hoping it doesn’t take that long because I also have to go the Apple store to get my in store order of screen protectors and stuff.

Has anybody here recieved tracking with an order placed via Phone w/ Verizon. I made the purchase around 6 AM on Pre Order day.... and was given a confirmation number. ..I called in today and have been told that my order has a Dec. 1 delivery date although was told Nov 3????? If it matters I placed this order through a small business acct.. which usually helps my process.

The last two to three pages are full of people reporting this, and mine did the same :) I posted much earlier in the thread, this same thing happened with my 8+.

I think the majority of peoples' orders have. I saw one post where it was changed to 4:30PM. Mine has been changed to 8PM.

They’re probably getting ready to ship.

But wait, didn’t you order at like 8am central or eastern? What model?
