well i got excited this morning because my delivery date was gone! now it has reappeared and still says 11/15. sigh
Anybody have any luck with getting FedEx to hold the package at one of their pick up facilities? I was able to do it easily last year with UPS, and was able to pick my package up first thing that morning. But FedEx is being difficult as all hell. Another reason why I'd rather deal with them UPS than FedEx
Does anyone see any flights coming to Pittsburgh area? I haven’t but I was in a hurry when I looked
I called and they said they have to at least one delivery attempt. I'm just leaving a signed note with tracking number and my number to just drop the package. Hoping they will call me.

Luckily I already have both of these things from having a 2016 MBP
May not bother to use them though, will depend on how much of a difference it actually makes.
Just a little update on my situation. My card was charged on 10/31 and also picked up by FedEx on 10/31 in West Chester, PA. From there it went to Newark, NJ. Not sure why since it's being delivered to Georgia, but whatever. Usually it sits in Memphis when it's coming my way. It looks like it left Newark at 12:48 pm today and is headed for Georgia! I originally had a 4:30 pm delivery time for 11/3, but now it says 8 pm. I'm not going to sweat it though because I've always gotten it earlier than expected. This year has been a lot less stressful, at least for me personally. Last year was hell waiting for any kind of news lol
Another update. My 256gb silver slated for 11/10 charged last night and shipped out this afternoon, delivery updated to tomorrow 11/3 by 8pm!!
Mine say by 5pm, but I'm pretty sure it will not come by then because of Trump arrival to the island.
What's confusing to me is I see multiple FED or UPS trucks stop by my condo (live in downtown district) in the morning and then one in the evening. All my packages are on the evening trucks.
Fedex typically has different trucks for different shipping methods that arrive at different times (learned this when Fedex delivered two separate times in the same day to my house) didn't seem efficient to me, but maybe it's easier for them.
I called and they said verizon was not allowing anyone to make any sort of changes to the delivery ):
I see on the Front Page that shipping estimates are improving. Is that only for orders placed through Apple? My estimate hasn't changed at all in the My Verizon app.
Ordered 3:10 AM, given a delivery of 11/15, just received a tracking number. Delivers on launch day
For anyone with a later shipping date than launch day that wants their order sooner, you can order a X for in store pickup via Verizon’s website starting at 3 am eastern time. Thought this info would help some folks out.

My Verizon store here NEVER has iPhones in stock on launch day. Last year they laughed at me when I called and asked if they had any of the iPhone 7 lol
The lady I talked to was very rude as well. I remember her saying “honey, no one in the country has an iPhone 7 Plus” followed by a sarcastic laugh.
