I will do almost similar to you will except for the screen protector will be Belkin from Apple and the case will be otterbox clear symmetry. We have same kind of thoughts :)

lol did not think of that after i talked to the guy i was blinded by excitement and did not realize this guy could just be talking and not follow through.

Mine was automatically populated with my old billing address and there wasn't an option I saw (possibly due to my haste) to change it

There should be an option to see if your local store has one before you go through the checkout process, right?

I mean that would make sense. I don't imagine there will be pickup stores on the list that don't have allotted stock.

I called my local store and they say they don't even know yet how many they are getting and what configurations. Maybe it's just the sales rep that doesn't know but whatever. I'll go online at 3AM and see if there is anything available for local pickup. My original order was done late, I received the confirmation email at 4:18am and have a delivery date of 11/15. If I can get it sooner, great... Otherwise I'll just wait.

Same here. It would not let me change shipping or billing address. I had to use what was on file and someone else’s card to make the purchase :mad:

well the guy here i know from going in there all the time. he showed me a video of the space grey and a picture of the backroom of the iphone x boxes. his manager came up behind him and jokingly said "you cant be showing everyone that" and walked off i asked how many do yall have he said "about 30"
 
My order changed from 11/10 to 11/3 coming from a 3:20 am pre-order. Been burned so many times in the past this will be my first launch day phone since the iPhone 6 :D. I will show up early tomorrow to check out the stock at my local VZW store any report my findings.

lmao. well i just cancelled mine. oh well. if i dont get it tonight ill chalk it up as a loss and keep it moving. im still gonna be on the forum to let you guys know how it went. but hopefully me cancelling mine helped someone else out

You can also try apple stores. I had asked on the only apple store around me and they said they would have at least enough for 2 days I'm not sure how true that was but won't hurt to ask

With the Belkin screen protector, if it cracks, wears out etc., you are on your own. The Zagg has a warranty for as long as you own your device. Should my screen protector have any of the aforementioned problems, I only have to pay shipping to get a new one.

According to what i have read. Apple has only enabled their wireless charging to accept 7.5 Amp instead of the industry standard 15 Amp wireless charging. So I really don’t think fast wireless charging will come to the X. But I’d love to be wrong.

My Verizon store here NEVER has iPhones in stock on launch day. Last year they laughed at me when I called and asked if they had any of the iPhone 7 lol

The lady I talked to was very rude as well. I remember her saying “honey, no one in the country has an iPhone 7 Plus” followed by a sarcastic laugh.

That lady was incorrect. I stopped in at a Verizon corporate store (Easton in Columbus, OH) on my lunch break at the iPhone 7 launch and they had all models. I asked the employee how much stock they had (enough so I could wait and buy after work). He said no problem. They had approximately 60 iPhone 7s and "a couple dozen pluses".
 
Changed my shipping address, option was grayed out during the order process, to my work address on Monday and was told today by Fedex that I will receive the phone on Tuesday instead of tomorrow.

how can we order online at 3am and pick up in the store tomorrow if we already have a pre order in and are doing the trade in option.

My phone is 50% paid off and I am trading it in for the X. Wouldn't I have to cancel that order to be able to go through the order process tonight and do the trade in so I can pick it up in a store tomorrow?
