It's in Houston at the local facility, but not even out for delivery and it's almost 8am here. I have a flight at 1:30, and was hoping to pick it up... but after multiple phone calls, no dice. Oh well. I guess i'll just get it next week
 
Both of mine arrived to destination sort facility last night but no movement since. That’s 70 miles away! How is it getting to me today?? Starting to worry
 
Anybody else that changed delivery address over Verizon chat that has the corrected address showing up on FedEx?? I chatted twice yesterday and was assured both times it was coming to the updated address, but the old is still showing up in FedEx tracking, I am nervous I am in the wrong place!

I had the same thing, but got bad news on tracking this morning. The FedEx rep assured me it would be in NY this morning, but woke up to find it in the original address. I even asked her to put a note on my account that she told me I would get it today. I called and spoke to a supervisor, and he was just like, no, thats wrong, she was wrong, oops.

Super excited. /s
 
Just left my small, local Verizon store, few people there and plenty of stock. I could of done everything there and not had to mail my phone back in, that was a major nightmare last year which I hope don’t repeat itself this year.

So now that we are getting into the final hours, how is everyone setting up their new X? Restoring from a backup, or starting fresh?


I'll probably start fresh, but not sure how to transfer over my Apple Watch and Activity data, if it's even possible.
 
Safari is stalling on the MyVerizon page and Chrome keeps telling me I have something in my cart but when I go to the cart there’s nothing in there.

It’s completely ****ed, lol.

Update on this: Live chat rep I spoke to for 30 minutes last night ensured that she had put in the order request for me on my behalf. She stated that I would get a call from Verizon sales rep to confirm the order and I’ll be all set.

What actually happened is I received a text saying the “Order request had been fully noted” and that I had to call them. Of course once I did the rep told me that the store I wanted to pick it up at had already opened and the units were gone. She also said that upgrade orders that required current devices to be sent back to Verizon were not eligible for In Store Pickup, which sounds like BS.

My house is less than 2 miles from the FedEx local facility. Let's see if he'll go there early. Noone's home until after 12nn anyway. Lol

I like to start fresh with a blank slate with new phones.
