Out for delivery! Both phones apparently shipped from Memphis at the same time. Fedex must have missed a few scans on one so it didn’t seem like it had left when the other did. Both are now out for delivery!

Don’t want to miss Fedex so we setup a baby monitor outside just in case
So did yours not update when it left Memphis? I’m hoping mine has left but just hasn’t been scanned.

Sitting at my local fedex center. Spoke with the manager. My package is being offloaded now. Got here the same time as the truck. Couple other people here waiting to receive the phone.
Wait but FedEx isn't doing "hold for pickup" or are they? Lol I'm so confused lol

There she is.

So instead of wait for it to be delivered I can just show up at the fed ex office and pick it up now ?
I had mine held for pickup but one other person here said she tried and Verizon said she could do that. I’m not sure if she got hers though. Just saying. And you would have to beat it from being loaded and the driver leaving

So here's an update for anyone who changed their address. I spoke to a manager with FedEx while on the phone with Verizon and FedEx. It definitely has to go to the original destination sort facility. From there, it gets re-routed. But, you've lost your overnight shipping by this point. Something Verizon/FedEx did NOT tell me (or many others from what I can tell). From the original sort facility, it will be re-labeled and sent on to the new sort facility. Delivery won't occur until Monday or Tuesday. No weekend delivery.

Luckily, I caught this in the nick of time and canceled the address change. Now, my package will be delivered to the original address (my dad's address), or at least that's what FedEx tells me, and my dad will overnight it to me. Verizon agreed to credit my account with the amount he has to pay to overnight it to me.

It is what it is. I'm okay not getting my phone today, though I wish I was. The part that really gets me is the total lack of transparency and honesty on the part of FedEx and/or Verizon. If there's a chance of it getting delayed, I should have been told that. All I was told is that the address change may not go through, NOT that it will be delayed, or that there was even a chance of delay. Hell, Verizon should fix this by allowing you to specify a shipping address. Basic eCommerce functionality missing.

To add insult to injury, according to the customer service rep I spoke to said the warehouse associate screwed up and packaged both of our phones in the same box. They should have been separate boxes. This may have also caused some issue. Oh well. I am pleased Verizon will credit the account with the cost of overnighting it to me, though. That was nice.

It didn’t update for awhile, pretty weird. No scans since early Thursday morning. It obviously traveled with my other phone (due to the scans afterwords) but this is what it looked like on my tracking.

I’m sure you’ll get it and they missed some scans too. The next one will probably be at your local Fedex.

Address change- just got a delivery exception from FedEx. Address changed and delivery date changed to Monday.

Wonder what my odds are of being able to cancel and go in store today

is there a way to get phone numbers and music over if you start fresh?

Contacts will auto download onto your new phone if you use iCloud, whether you set up as new or from a backup.

Best way to get music onto the new phone would be restoring from a backup I'd say. If you use iCloud Music Library or Apple Music, they might auto-download onto your new phone, but I'm not sure.

I had the same problem. Talked to Verizon about an address change and if it would delay shipping. They assured me it wouldn’t. Called fedex and asked them and they said it would delay it so I called Verizon back and got it changed back to the original address. Now I’m hoping it still gets delivered today because fedex said it could delay the delivery. It’s at the local fedex facility and hasn’t been changed to out for delivery yet.

My change of address must not have gone through like FedEx said. My tracking says its out for delivery to my home address and not my work address. Had a neighbor put a note on the door for delivery to his house so that he can sign for it. I hope that works.

It’s
On the vehicle for delivery! If it got on the vehicle for delivery about an hour ago what are the chances I get it before 3pm even though my delivery says arrived before 8pm? I have to leave around 3-30.

Got mine... Ordered at 3AM this morning for in-store pickup. Will cancel my preorder that I did on 10/27 with 11/15 scheduled delivery. Nice knowin' you guys! I'm out!
