i had a pre order and cancelled it after 4 days. waited up last night until 2am cst. got one. walked into the store and they handed me the bag

I did the same thing. Did they make you activate it in the store or can you simply pick it up and activate at home? Wanting to pick it up over my lunch hour but won't have enough time to go through the activation in store.

Well, a Fedex Express van just passed by my house so it wasn't on that one. For those of you getting their phones via Fedex, do you know if it's Fedex Express or Ground?

It can get to your area via Express and then be delivered by a Ground truck. This isn’t uncommon.

all my music is from itunes, so i suppose I could just connect the phone to itunes and sync.

What about pictures? will they all come in from icloud too? I do not pay for icloud though... just use the free storage.

iTunes music yes, plug it in. For the pictures unless you have iCloud photos on they won’t. You will at that point have to do an iTunes back up and restore. Do an encrypted backup so you get all your passwords and health data restored.

I called Verizon on Monday to have a delivery address change. It never got on a truck today, instead it says recipient refused the package. Called FedEx, they said this is because they got the change of address from Verizon (on Monday). One person said it should still be here today, so we'll see.

There's nothing more that I hate than FedEx. I had my Apple Watches delivered via Fed Ex and it was miserable, since they're so strict about their signature policy, I was waiting around on a Friday until 8:30pm (they said delivered before 8pm). I cant immagine -- people who don't have the option to work from home... how do they even manage FedEx shipments, do you have to deliver it to your job?

yep. easiest way

I'm going to leave the signature waiver on the door with a note to leave it on my back deck or in the mailbox. I also wrote to give me a call but I'm not sure if that will happen.

I received an email that said 'sign for your package in advance by clicking HERE' I click on it and it just brings me to the delivery status update page.

Where did you get your pre-sign print out page??
