After thinking for a while the other day, I decided that I didn’t really need 256 but if it shipped soon I’d be fine with it. Today couldn’t have come together any better, though.
My sales rep from Verizon called and told me they had some in stock and that if I was interested in a silver 64, that they had a few but it was still first come first serve. I just so happened to work around the corner from there and be on my lunch break, so I picked up one of those instead.
Coming from a slowly dying Nexus 5x, this thing is awesome. I’m loving it so far.

Yeah you can definitely survive on 64gb. When I had the 256 iPhone 7+, I basically downloaded every album one my Apple Music library so I could go with the lower tier data plan. Now though, my work pays for my cell service, and I’ll still probably download about 2,500 songs, download a good 20 games, store my photos but optimize storage, and still have about 20gb left.

It turned out I did not have any issues at all to get my iPhone X on the launch date. When a situation happens like this, do not make any changes to the existing order. Wait until you get the phone on hand and then make changes to whatever needs to be done. I paid off my phone after I received it as it was automatically ordered in payment plan during the preorder date. Thankfully, I did not mess anything on my preorder by making any changes.

256 GB is for a peace of mind. So, no worries to reorganize the memory. The peace of mind is worth it and that is why 256 GB is so popular and always sold out first befor 64 GB.
I won’t be getting mine until Monday as well. I’ve been tracking it on Fedex. It started out in PA and is now in Memphis, TN. I live in New Jersey btw. Not sure why it went to Tennessee.Well I’m bummed I won’t be getting my phone until Monday. It was originally scheduled for delivery today
I wish mine was coming via FedEx. It’s coming from UPS and when I checked the tracking yesterday morning it said a UPS trailer was late arriving to the last destination, which was somewhere in IL. I live in Missouri
That sucks. The vzw app says my X will be delivered by 11/25. Fedex says 11/27. Not sure what to believe. But since the package is in Tennessee, I’m assuming it’ll be here on Monday unfortunately.
Yeah I should just be grateful it’s on the way! I had an expected ship date of 12/6

Still waiting on my silver 256 for dec.6th delivery.
Fedex moves almost all packages through Memphis no matter how "close" you or I might feel two locations are. There are instances where they'll move goods by truck but generally speaking, presume your package will be flying. 99% of the time it works perfectly so personally, I don't question their logic / logistics.
Well, the topic of this thread changed since I've posted in it originally but I was holding out for Black Friday deals on either iPhone 8+ or X models. Three different VZW phone reps told me that since I wasn't in a hurry to upgrade that I should wait for VZW's Black Friday deals. All of them mentioned what VZW offered last year too. Well, Black Friday is here and literally nothing offered in regards to the 8 or X models (no interest in a deal on an iPad). I guess I'll hold out longer.... No phone is worth how much these are going for (to me - to each their own).

This thread has slowed down a lot the past 2-3 days. Looks like no movement from the 12/13 ships. Also has remained at 12/13 for new ship dates for the 256gb's since I ordered 11/8. Maybe there's a large allocation that week.

I also ordered a 256 sg on 11/8 and have seen no change to my 12/13 ship date on the Verizon website. If you look on the Apple site though it is showing a ship date for the same phone of 1 to 2 weeks, which would be 12/2 to 12/9, so I’ll be a bit upset if it really doesn’t ship until 12/13 or slips even later.
12-13 delivery date. Ordered it November 2. Space gray 256. Just got notice order is being processed
