I was charged last night 11/29

Silver 256
Ordered 11/15
Charged 11/29 PM

I imagine we're getting close to the end here

Pretty crazy how u guys pre-ordered way ahead of time.
I was able to pickup a 256 gb iPhone x this past Sunday at Target here in Hollywood,CA. I guess apple released a bunch of iPhone x this past weekend to Bunch of stores.

My wife placed her order on bestbuy on Thanksgiving. 2 days later it said it shipped & she has her phone now. Granted her order said shipping December 13.

Those of us still waiting did not Preorder. We ordered weeks after, with 3-4 weak lead times yet. Only stores in big cities are getting stock around me. My target in a town of 65K has not received any. Many of the Target's in and around Minneapolis have stock but that is 2 hours North and not worth the drive. As for your wife's phone, I assume it's a 64GB? They have been available to ship the same day for a little while now.

Just got this message from UPS "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. / Delivery will be rescheduled." I took a chance and went to UPS yesterday to try to pick up my package and I was told that it was on a truck already and I cold not pick it up. Now on the day its suppose to be delivered, they say its delayed. Wish it was shipped via Fedex

My phone should be Out for Delivery for today, last scan was yesterday in Houston, 6 hrs away from me, and now it says, “Due to operating conditions your package may be delayed. / Delivery will be rescheduled.”

Thanks UPS....

Same deal over here. So frustrating. I wish I could just go and pick up my package. They have to attempt a delivery before being able to pick it up.

UPS must have been hit hard this week. Every package being delivered to my house this week has had that same exception at least once. I'd estimate 35%-40% of the packages delivered to our warehouse this week had the same exception. Christmas gift overload. FedEx has been on time though. I haven't received tracking yet so I'm not sure which carrier I'll get. I hope FedEx. Fedex has also been delivering Saturdays and Sundays to our house so I could actually get delivery this weekend while I'm home to sign.

I'm an AT&T customer but I wanted to pop into this VZW thread and see if there are people in here who preordered on 10/27 and still haven't received their iPhone X.

Lots of unhappy AT&T Premier business customers who preordered on 10/27 and are still waiting. Mostly unhappy because many regular AT&T (personal) customers who ordered after 10/27 but have already received their iPhones. Any of you VZW guys seeing this too?

I haven't been part of this thread long but i think all the pre orders were filled long ago. Most of us left on this thread ordered middle of November and have been getting shipping info recently for 12/6 and 12/13 ship dates on the 256GB models. There's not many of us left here.

UGH!!!!! Woke up this morning to an alert from UPS that "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. Delivery will be rescheduled". It made it to Indianapolis, about 2 1/2 hours away yesterday afternoon. I'm hoping that's not shipper language for "we lost it". Of course, I arranged my whole week around being at home all day today for delivery once they gave me the date. You can't actually talk to a person at UPS to get any further information.

Also, of course, the toys I've ordered for Christmas gifts that are coming UPS seem to be right on track.

UPDATE 2- My phone arrived today. Unfortunately my back went out yesterday when putting up the Christmas tree and I’m too uncomfortable and immobile to set it up. I don’t want my Face ID setup to be me grimacing in pain. However, while laying around on my back, I did get some unused apps cleaned off my old phone and got a new backup of it, so I’m ready to play with the new toy tomorrow.

Yea it's definitely a bad time to be expecting a package you've been waiting for all month. Hopefully yours come via Fedex. Still not sure how they determine which orders go to which package company

Not sure how it works either but thankfully mine is coming FedEx. Monday delivery as of now but FedEx does not have the package yet, just the electronic shipping info. Verizon hasn’t sent tracking but I got a notification from the FedEx app. Hoping delivery is updated for Saturday. I’ve already had two deliveries for Monday updated to deliver this Saturday.

Planning to order Verizon iPhone X, as it supports GSM and CDMA, but curious how much battery performance difference compared to AT&T and T-Mobile version?

I ordered my iPhone X (SG 256) on 11/22, noticed that the order was in process early this morning (11/29) and just checked again before I headed out for the day and it’s already been shipped out with the arrival date of 12/1.Apple has definitely ramped up their production so hopefully you guys get yours soon as well!

*update* Finally recieved my iPhone today! The entire process took a little over a week and it was also Thanksgiving the next day so getting it this quickly is awesome!

Hope you feel better - I just had major dental surgery and I’m using my downtime to get to know my X even more. It keeps my mind off of eating only mashed potatoes and soft foods when I really want a five guys burger and fries

Made the plunge with disastrous results. I have always bought my iPhones directly from Apple. For some reason, this time I elected to buy one from our cellular provider--Verizon. The day after I started using the new iPhone, I somehow racked up 20GB of cellular data downloads in about a half-hour without my knowledge. Upon investigation, it turns out that when they shipped it, Verizon enabled cellular downloads for every app on the phone by default, including software updates, without my knowledge. When I contacted them to complain, they blamed Apple ("it's an Apple feature")

I’m sure they CAN credit that if you state the experience is making you rethink your relationship with Verizon. They can give you courtesy buckets of data to eliminate the overage charges

Have you called Verizon account services by saying cancel service in the IVR?

I did not have the kind of issue. The issue like this happens if Verizon opens your phone and somehow, someone in Verizon changes the setting in the phone. Unless your previous phone was set to enable cellular downloads and the setting was copied to your new phone during your new set-up process, the issue should not have happened. This issue sounds strange.

When the 8 came out I went and bought it at the Verizon corporate store for the first time and turns out the rep added on mobile protection and didn’t even ask me or mention it to me at all. I didn’t find out till I got home and saw my bill was going to be higher and that was why. So not the right thing to do. Chatted in to support and they gave me a bill credit for it back.. but why even bother sneaking something in like that? Why not ask me about it first?

So, I ended up selling my 8 last week and ordering the X from Apple. No issues at all.

Have not done that, only because every time I try, I receive the message "long wait time to speak to a representative."

I know this is for the X but as a new Verizon customer, was an AT&T customer since the iPhone start, I’ve never preordered through Verizon. Is the app the best? I want to preorder and add a new line. Is that the quickest, fastest, best way?

Thanks!

Last year, their website went live before Apple did. Took me less than 5 mins to order the X.

Yes, Verizon app is the best in my opinion. Apple Store app was still not live by the time I got my order through.

I’ve preordered twice in a row and did it by calling Verizon both times. Very fast for me and got them both on launch day

I’m assuming I can preorder and add a new line at the same time right?

I did the Apple store last year and it again, was not up on time. Gave up and went through AT&T.

I have prepaid plan Verizon iPhone X. Can I order new IPhone X2 from Verizon app on the same day when preorder goes live?
