There are people saying they will drive like an hour to the facilities to pick it up early.
I can understand if it was an X, cause its new and shiny.
They told me that it all going to stay, on a recorded call. It didn't. They told me otherwise so I demanded they listen to the recorded call and they provided the credit.
Well... at least those that are buying the X have something to cheer about.
They'll save on their gas money not having to go to pick up their phone until 2018... LMAO
I'm on a 6 plus and getting the 8 Plus. You should see considerable difference in speed, touch ID, camera, and screen quality. With the 1gb of RAM mine has been slow, lots of lag and freezing up. The 8 Plus will run at blazing speeds. We also get force touch.
It's like Christmas though. I don't get myself nice stuff very often. I'm also going from a 16GB 6s to a 64GB 8. That's a big jump. This is pretty much the only nice thing I get myself ever.

Mine was in PA and then NJ, and I'm in FL. It's all part of the process. As long as it's scheduled for tomorrow it'll make it. it's overnight shipping. They put it on a plane and it's in your town in a few hours.
As I stated earlier in the thread that hasn't always been the case with the ones I've ordered. I remember one pre order it was actually fairly close to me for at least a couple of days before release date. I apologize for not being more in the know as I haven't been able to get the new ones through pre order for a little bit.
That’s exactly how I feel. I’m always too excited to fall asleep early the night before my new iphone is due to arrive. Yeah, it’s “just a phone,” but what’s the harm in getting a little giddy over something every now and then?

I have the exact same tracking but now it's back in Coatesville. It's a mystery...
so for me to use this iPhone 8+ on a different line, i need to turn it on to activate and than just switch sim cards, right (with another iPhone)?
From my experience, don't power it up until you do the sim card switch, otherwise it will activate on the wrong line.

We have to keep a bit of perspective here. When someone is participating on a forum about Apple and making fun of us who are excited about a new Apple device, don't worry. There's someone out in the world making fun of them for even belonging to a forum about Apple.
No matter how stupid we look to someone, they look stupid to someone else. It's a part of life.
I'm stoked for a new iPhone just like I was getting all of my Apple products over the years or when the car I ordered arrived at the dealership and I was tracking the shipping container from Germany for 4 weeks or rushing home to play a new video game I pre-order months ago.
It's okay to get excited about things and I'm happy we all have threads like this to share our excitement with others.

to my belief you can still "upgrade" without effecting the credit with just buying a new phone outright in full
Called Fedex there gonna deliver before 12 and I have my new AW3 non LTE ready for pickup at best buy. Next year I want to do in-store pickup that's for sure!
