Just had a mishap with icloud and lost a bunch of my pictures/Videos I wanted to clear up some space for my new phone but not like this ughhh.
On the bright side I finally got conformation that my order was approved.

I’m honestly so concerned about what the demand will be like for the 10. I usually am able to get my preorder in on time but I don’t know what the best pre order route will be.
I am anticipating that pre-orders will sell out in minutes, if not seconds. Your best bet might be logging on before the time and spamming reload until you can grab it. It seems a lot of folks are skipping the 8, and waiting for the X. If the information about production not even starting until mid October is true, they are going to be extremely limited. I decided to not even bother this year, went with an 8+. If the X is a hit, will get the revision next year

I have a quick question, guys and gals. If the iPhone X isn't available SIM-free from Apple's website, how does it work when pre-ordering through a carrier?
My current phone is unlocked and not on contract (purchased from outside of Verizon). If I purchase the iPhone X through Verizon outright (meaning no contract, no payment plan), do I HAVE to replace one of my current lines with the X?
In other words: I think that when you preorder on Verizon's site, you can't just buy the phone as you can on Apple's website. It's not like an Add to Cart & pay ordeal. You instead have to choose which line you're upgrading, etc. If I change my mind and cancel my preorder, or decide to sell the phone to someone else after receiving it -- what happens then? What if I want to change carriers -- will the phone be unlocked?

Same here...I'm 45 minutes north of West Chester and it was there then sent to Elizabeth, NJ, can't figure that one out!

Im a little skeptical of information Verizon techs provide over the phone or chat line. I thought if you opted for the payment option and you have the old $15 line access fee, you automatically get bumped to the new $40line access fee. I'm being told not so if I don't change my plan. He is also telling me to purchase the iPhone 8+ on the device payment option, trade in my old iPhone 6 for $294, after that credit goes thru, I can finish paying off the remaining balance of my payments all at once. I originally wanted to buy the phone outright but he said the trade-in option was only available with the payment option plan. this sounds fishy to me. Pass the smell test?
I ordered an 8 on Saturday morning and have not received any email confirmation, just says still processing. When I placed that order they said it would ship 9/29. Haven't charged my card either. Guess it's too early. I should have ordered a day earlier.

Yes, you should definitely be able to, 3 years ago when the 6+ first came out I unfortunately did not order till the phones were able to be seen in person at the Apple Store. They claimed they would be available in about 2 weeks well 2 weeks went to 5 weeks. I gave up and was able to purchase the one I wanted at Best Buy, I just went to my local Verizon store and they helped me return my 5s for a credit. But you will not be able to return it till you have activated your new phone.
Still nothing here either, Ordered the 15th with a 22nd delivery date, got a text yesterday morning that order was received and ill get a text once it ships, here it is the day before and still shows processing. WTF
Got some great news this morning. My original delivery date of September 29 on one of my SG 256 8+ was changed to the 22nd and JUST received my tracking.
Here is something amusing. I just got my Verizon billed and was charged my first device payment and don't even have the phone yet lol. Guess I'll be on time for upgrading next year.
Looks like it really wouldn't be worth it in that case. I'd rather not have the credit spread out over 24 months and we don't need unlimited at this point
I got the same email from FedEx early this morning but my was set for delivery by 3 pm originally now says by 8 pm. Looked like it was still in Tennessee as well. They better be getting it on a plane heading west really soon. Not thrilled with them moving out the delivery time. I am fortunate I work from home for both of my jobs but I am even skipping the gym that I go to early morning before work so I don’t miss delivery, watch then they don’t arrive till 7:30 at night.
BTW I live the update on the watch for the fitness app, the indoor walk for treadmill has always been way off, it now was much closer to what the treadmill showed,

I am a new Verizon customer and went with unlimited just to use the promo but they told me I could switch my plan later. How is is this to do? I'm the only one on my plan and really don't need unlimited.
