Got a charge for the SG 8+ 64 this evening, status still says processing with a ship by date of 9/22. Ordered for my mom (her first iPhone, coming from using a Note 5) and hoping it gets here in a timely fashion. She’ll be going away to Indonesia for a month so I wanted her to have a decent phone where she can Facetime me and take some great pictures. So I need to teach her the ins and outs of using the OS
I myself am still waiting to get the X next month but a part of me really kinda just wants to dive in and get the 8+ SG 256 since I have a 7+ 256... Like the larger size and love Touch ID but I suppose once demo units are in-store to play with, I’ll give it a test before making my final decision

It’s funny how I have a 29 delivery date when I placed my order on the afternoon of the 15th for the SG, 256, 8 +, Verizon.com, but if i order right now from apple,I get a 26th delivery date. Hmmmmmm
Why are our Verizon phones shipping from a city with less then 20k population? At least that’s my origin scan

My Phone has been at the Memphis FedEx facility all day or at least since 11:32 am, it states it is set for Future Delivery.
Mine is also chilling in TN with a nice big note that the shipper stated not to deliver until 9/22
Yep. Just hope they get out of NJ in time before any outer bands of Tropical Storm Jose hit the area. I'm sure they're monitoring it and have contingency plans in place. Might miss NJ though.Mine must be with yours

So I woke up to a notification from my bank showing my balance $800+ more than it should've been so I log in and the charge from Apple just disappeared and after angrily calling my bank turns out they (Apple) just did it (Initially charged me) for verification purposes. She said they can finalize the charge at anytime. So I'm guessing this is start of some real movement?
P.S. I ordered iPhone 8+ Gold 64GB at 2:02CST (12:02PST) straight from Apple but I had my details preloaded

The odd thing is I’ve had two of this none was there last night and fell off shortly after

Just had an email from Verizon Wireless, so naturally I was super excited. They just wanted to confirm my email address (I'm guessing because I'm a new customer). They are driving me insane!
EDIT: Here I am again, I just got my tracking and shipping info! Had it shipped to my work address so here's hoping to hoping it comes in the morning so I don't have to worry about not taking a lunch and missing it.

Glad I called them. Some oddity with the shipping address and phone number (I’ve no ideas where they got that random number in the app). Apparently they butchered my address and even the lady helping me had no clues where the phone number was generated from. AND they were trying to move the ship date to the 29th. She looked through her system, found the original 22nd arrival (she spent a good 30 minutes scouring how it got changed with no luck) made sure that was corrected and put a ticket in to update the shipping and contact info to the correct place (she couldn’t without canceling everything) and now it’s simply fingers and toes crossed all this goes through...Le sigh

Mines is too. Seems like they are holding it there due to the future delivery noted on it.
I would love to know how many thousands of iPhones are sitting in the Memphis FedEx Facility, but since this happens every year I am sure they are well prepared for this.
PULLING SIMS will work but be warned. Verizon has the device ID tied to the line you upgrade. So last year when my wife's line was upgrade ready I used that upgrade and when the phone came, pulled the sim out of the new phone, put mine in and then put her SIM in my old phone. It Worked fine except.... this year when I went to upgrade even though 50% had been paid off on the 7plus I couldn't upgrade the line because the "device ID does not match the phone number of the device" I had to call verizon and it took them an hour to get the device ID to match correctly so then I could upgrade.
I am with At&T right now. What do I need to do, to get my phone number transfered over? Can I do that online. Or do I have to brave the lines this friday at an actual Verizon store?
So this is a new phone on verizon and you are going from ATT to verizon? If that's the case what are you transferring a sim for? The phone coming from verizon should have a sim in it and then you just call and activate it. If you want to keep your ATT number and bring it to verizon you will have to call verizon and have them port your number to give you your ATT number and discard the one verizon assigns you.
