I used to do likewise but now my phone is on vibrate just about all the time, so I couldn't care less. Also I'm older and having a personalized noise for each action just isn't that interesting to me anymore.
Yea, its not a big deal but sometimes I do miss the customization of Android.

I've never cared about that stuff. The last few years what I've mostly preferred in Android are notifications. That's been the biggest difference between iOS and Android. And I especially like Samsung's email and calendar apps. iOS's email and cal are ancient at this point. And using Exchange is still slow on iOS. For example: I set up a meeting in calendar, and on any Android phone I've used, the minute I type in the first few letters of the employee's name I need for the meeting, it pops up in the drop down list. On iOS, unless it's a name I use frequently, it seems to take forever to give me a list of names. THAT is what annoys me about Apple. Too many of their basic apps get no interest from them. They make them good enough and then walk away from it to focus on allowing me to create animated talking poop emojis.

Yea IOS mail is pretty basic. It would be nice if they allowed custom defaults. Apple needs to relax a bit on the control.

I would love Outlook as my mail default on iOS.
I use Outlook as well, its a nice mail app. Its not a huge deal for me if its default or not. When I email someone I go into the app anyway.

Its nice that developers are putting settings in their Apps that allow you choose your browser or maps app though.
