It hasn't been hidden away in the stores however, that's an issue, in my opinion.

I'm not really making a comparison at all. I'm making a statement that MacBook Pro 13-inch was released early June 2012, four years ago, 1471 days ago according to MacRumors today. Initially priced at $1199 USD in 2012, it received one price drop in 2014 to $1099 USD. Why has Apple's old technology been for sale at exorbitant pricing and alongside new technology for so long.

Too expensive is up to each the consumer to decide. If they buy it then obviously it's not too expensive.

13-inch MacBook Pro.
Four year old CPU. Four year old RAM. Four year old technology. ZERO upgrades in four years. Terrible benchmarks.
Sold alongside brand new MacBooks for four years implying the product is fresh.
Sold at $1099 (only $100 off original new pricing four years earlier at $1199).
Most here would be criticizing PC manufacturers for this nonsense.
A little more objectivity please.
Apple is great sometimes, but not all the time. This is a case where Apple is severely lacking greatness.
Apple should be great always.

Exactly.

I know a lot about business, and I understand this strategy, but I know about what makes Apple great, and this isn't.
So what's the point? We got that Apple "disgusts" you. Now what? Just repeating the same thing every few posts doesn't really do anything more than what the original post does (and in fact it could be argued that it just devalues it all the more it's needlessly repeated).

Well, if you knew about business you'd also know that the goal of any business is profit & not be some sort of Saint being the role model. being the role model is always a gesture that big corporations are trying to come up with but that's not their goal.

Exactly.

Everybody on the internet knows a lot about business, is able to spot errors in corporate strategy and was the runner-up for CEO picks by the board of directors of the fortune 50.

Sounds like you have real experience in that field.
