Check this out and tell me the camera isn't better than the 5S:

http://snapsnapsnap.photos/how-does-the-iphone-6-camera-compare-to-previous-iphone-cameras/

Also, if you aren't on Yosemite yet, you have AirDrop from Mac to iPhone to look forward to. It's worked with just about every file format I've tried.

Combine that with the new extensions (once devs take advantage) and you'll be able to quickly and wirelessly transfer whatever from you Mac to your iPhone and let whatever app you choose open it up.

I'm still a bit curious as to what the promo pics of iCloud Drive are showing.....I have yet to see that menu on my iPhone. I'm hoping they'll open that up a little more.

It took a little while to get right, but I love that my iPad and Mac ring with my phone. iOS 8 isn't much to look at, but some of these features are great.

One more observation on the display screen on the IP6. I used it bright/direct sunlight. I could still read the screen. Mind you it was not as regular but it was still legible. One of the best direct sunlight screens I have used....

The thing that I don't like about the iPhone 6 is the display.
Coming from a 1080p display of the S5 and Note 3, I notice the lack of sharpness in small texts when reading webpages. It's not as noticeable on every webpage but try going to CNN.com for example and read one of the articles.

The text is blurry.
This is a no go for me. I'll be selling my 6 and waiting til 1080p displays make it to the 4.7" screen size before going back.

What are your experiences with the screen?

IMHO the screen colors do not pop and stand out like the GS5 screen does. But it is so much better outdoors than my GS5 also......

Nice review

One thing I do wish Android had was the backup process. Think it's great.

You know Samsung Kies backs up and restores content to your phone? Also gives you access to the filesystem, internal and SD, so you can drag and drop folders to your computer as you please.

Will have to give it a try. That the same for all albums for your photos?

Lmao.....fuzzy text.....

Might want to pull the phone a little farther away from your face than 2 inches....

There's nothing "fuzzy" about the iPhone display.

As far as I know, yeah. It has a simplified UI for things like "Contacts" (which I was actually unable to find manually navigating the filesystem) "Photos", "Calendar", etc. Then there's the filesystem where you can grab photos manually, however I think both functions accomplish the same task of getting all your photos. And yes, Kies works MUCH better than it used to at the time of the Note II launch.

cheers will give it a go. Used backup pro last time so hopefully kies will be a quicker process.

so you're ok with the fuzzy texts?

I wasn't sure what to expect from the iPhone 6 LCD 720P-sh screen, especially compared to my S5.

Prognosis is the iPhone 6 screen is pretty damn good.

The contrast is probably the best I've seen on LCD display, color saturation is just right, and display leans toward the cool side, which I prefer. Black levels are not in AMOLED class (nothing is), but black is pretty close to what it is intended to be.

Fuzzy? There is nothing fuzzy about it, and brightness levels smash my S5, even with auto-adjust reserve boost in sunlight. It isn't even close.

Try looking at small texts in an ebook or a website.
I know from just regular use, it's hard to tell but as soon as you go to an ebook you can clearly see the limitations of 720p.
Maybe my eyes have just gotten spoiled to an 1080p screen.

Shoot, I don't think 720p should even exist except for an option on streaming services for mobile users looking to use less data..

It isn't you. A 1080p screen is always going to look more crisp over a 750p screen. My iphone 6 screen is good enough that it doesn't bother me though.

This one is quite important and it will be interesting to test the Note 4 vs the iPhone on this point. DisplayMate has the Note 4 ahead on "Measured Auto Brightness" (750 cd/m2 vs 566 cd/m2) but the iPhone winning on reflections ("Average Screen Reflections at 4.6 vs 4.8 percent).

BTW, if this is important to you too, would you mind checking how much you can dim the iPhone display when using it in a dark room? The Note 4 is allegedly excellent in this respect and this one in particular will be a decider for me as I currently have to use the Screen Brightness app for my Note 2 to dim it to an acceptable level when using the phone next to my sleeping gf at night (just a little bit of light wakes her up immediately and then you don't want to be around her let me tell you right now lol :p).

I think the Note 4 comes out ahead with that dim mode, it's supposed to be extremely dim which is nice for dark rooms. Also iOS has that awful blinding white on slightly less blinding white theme which is horrible for dark rooms.
