The iPhone 6 camera is interesting. Not sure what I think yet. I hadn't really taken any pics till today.

Here is an iPhone 6 vs S5 shot, taken within 5 seconds of each other, same distance away from object, focused on the ship logo and Perry Ellis lettering. No zooming or anything.

iPhone is first, S5 is second in the sequence. Natural light in the first, artificial in the second.

I find the iPhone takes warmer, sharper pics, with better color reproduction.

Thoughts on the iPhone 6 so far......

Pic taken today with iPhone 6. I compared them to earlier pics from my S5 which were kinda similar and the iPhone 6 photo looked better. It's been zoomed and cropped as well.

Whats the deal with so many iPhone 6 cases, having a circle cutout in the rear to show off the Apple logo

That looks so tacky, and childish. Why would you want a hole in your case, to scream out load that you do indeed have an Apple iPhone ?

This is a problem with iPhone cases in general. What I hate about the hole in the back of many of these cases is that it leaves the phone back exposed to denting and can allow more grit to enter the case and possibly scratch the phone. I for one would never buy such a case.

Spigen began shipping out their cases with a clear film on the circular cut out to protect the logo and the surrounding area, but i agree it looks quite bad.

The iPhone takes good shots, not the best in the world, but for the average Joe it does well. Just took this one of the setting sky with zero adjustments. Looks okay, but the Lumia 1020 would blow this out of the water in sheer detail.
