Therefore, my initial thought is a joint venture between the current owners and/or new owners whereby the U.S. gets a 50% ownership in a joint venture set up between the U.S. and whichever purchase we so choose.

Look we all saw what we saw. I’m not a Musk hater; I own a Tesla and still have an X account. I’m not saying he’s a Nazi. But I also have a degree in German history and spent a ton of time studying fascism. I saw him give a clear Sieg Heil salute not once, but twice. Not really interested in debating it, I saw what I saw and I have enough knowledge of the topic are to know what I’m looking at.

Maybe he didn’t mean it that way, or maybe he got caught up in the moment, or whatever, then he should have apologized or even not apologized and said “of course i didn’t mean it like that” (which he hasn’t done - at least as of the last time I checked this morning).
