While people defend Musk's Nazi salute and point out that the ADL tried to keep the flames down, the MAGA maniac just can't stop outing himself as an anti-semite.

Macron ... Nazi? Video evidence.

As much as I appreciate his accomplishments, his genius, his vision…I do not appreciate everything about Elon Musk. I appreciate that he seems to look at the world through the eyes of a child. I appreciate that he made his own money. I appreciate that he wants to help the government spend less money. I appreciate that he would not be paid for his DOGE position. I appreciate that he is better at rockets than NASA and I’d probably be ok if he had an office somewhere besides the WH. He would be after all, just another bureaucrat like the ones he tasked to get rid of.

He’s got one of the, if not the biggest social media news and information sharing communities on the web. I would not want him to use that for sharing the daily inner workings of the WH. I do not appreciate that he’d probably get a security clearance and an office in the WH. I also do not appreciate a lot of his humor. I realize he has moments of awkwardness but that does not excuse thoughtless humor, especially when related to race, culture, or hurtful history….whether hurt is intended or not. For all his intelligence, he is like a big kid that doesn’t seem to respect boundaries, and sometimes seems to have no self awareness.

I do believe that his so called Nazi Salute was harmless and no more than an awkward gesture of him sharing his heart with the people at the arena. He was definitely very excited and looked as if he forgot himself.

No one needs your help. It's very clear to what lengths the left will go to to defame. Even the ADL said it wasn't a Nazi Salute. Musk's reply to the lunacy...

"In response, the SpaceX and Tesla chief posted on X: "Frankly, they need better dirty tricks. The 'everyone is Hitler' attack is sooo tired."
Stop with the "everyone is hitler" myth. When we see fascism, we need to call it out. When you try to minimize or dismiss people actually naming fascism when they see it you are only helping the decent into fascism. "we aren't being hyperbolic when we say that. The truth is what it is.

The ADL is supporting fascism in Israel right now. The government of Israel is committing genocide on the Palestinians.

Seriously, anyone can see that musk did a nazi salute. In context or out of context, it's pretty blatant. Musk is a fascist and supports fascists on his platform. And don't say it's about free speech, because if you type "cisgender" into twitter (a clinical term and not a slur) you will be censored.

Didn't Elon Musk already have a lot of Nazi and fascistic tendencies before the saluting incident a few days ago?

People are acting like this is suddenly some new revelation. I don't think it started this week...

Taking them in order.
1. The government did not ask. They forced them. AND it was to the detriment of the health of the nation. The "legal drug cartels", entertainers, and government officials made millions from spreading misinformation.
2. Don't like the word fiasco? You're right. That was not accurate. The correct word is theft. It's not lawful. Supreme Court said so. Biden did it anyway. The purpose of congress is not to just pass anything that comes along. There is a reason why the fathers made it difficult to get a new law/spending program passed.
3. You can't pardon someone when there isn't even an investigation. Everyone is entitled to defend themselves in court. If you aren't guilty then you have nothing to worry about. The media even told us so in 2020. What side were you on back then?
4. Union members by and large loved Biden. 🤣 No they do not. Had they, Kamala would have won.
5. Trump was most certainly a fry cook. You can't even accept things that are well documented. That makes it impossible to have a serious discussion with you. Next you're going to tell me a garbage man can't become president.
6. I'd take a billionaire as a cabinet member any day of the week over a millionaire who's only worked in government. Can't believe you would even want to mention this. How much is Biden worth? Pelosi? Schumer? What have the done to earn even 10% of their worth?

Quit while you're behind..
Taking them one by one, in order.
1. They asked. You were lied to. And telling people to vaccinate, wear masks, and socially distance was a net positive effect.
2. It was an objectively good move to forgive student debt. We should do it for everyone. There are people who will never be able to pay it off before retirement. It is a scam. Education should be free. So should healthcare. It’s not theft. Learn the definitions of things. Also, you can’t trust the current Supreme Court to rule on the law anymore.
3. Well, trump pardoned a bunch of his cronies and threatened multiple times that he was going to prosecute the Jan 6 committee and even execute General Millie for treason. He did what he needed to do to protect those who were just trying to uphold the law.
4. Kamala Harris is not Biden. And yes they do because Biden was the most pro union president in decades.
5. I never said a fry cook or a garbage man can’t be president, but I would say trump isn’t qualified to be a garbage man, fry cook, or president. He isn’t qualified to mop up peep booths. It’s frightening that anyone would let him anywhere near the nuke codes. He’s a moron, crook, convicted felon, and a rapist. (Yes, I know it’s only considered sexual assault in NY if you only use your fingers, but that’s still rape in most other states and it is in my book too.)
6. Billionaires shouldn’t exist. If you added up all those people’s net worths you probably wouldn’t even get to a billion. For context, I’m well educated, make a decent six figure income, and have a valuable skill set. If I were to save every penny, and never spent a dime, it would take me 3.3 million years to make what musk is worth. Is there anything that anyone could do to honestly earn the kind of money it would take an average person 44,000 lifetimes to earn? Also should that person have more say in how the country is governed just because they have that money? If your answer is yes, then you support oligarchy. The right always talks about the liberal elite, but that is always a distraction from the real elite billionaires who are all republicans. The money has always been on the gop’s side. Money isn’t speech. Get money out of politics. Or, if you want it in politics, go buy some trumpet coin. I’m sure that’s a great investment and you’ll be a billionaire in no time.

Right. Context does confirm that it was a nazi solute, but really, anyone could see it for what it was without the context. They are just trying to gaslight us by denying what it really was.

Wow, you need to learn a bit more about Elon musk. He didn’t make his own money. He inherited an emerald mine from his father. Bought in to Tesla once it was an already established company, and made some kind of deal with the original owners to be called a “founder” when he was not. He is not better at rockets than nasa. He is a rich kid who has been trying to pass himself off as a genius but once you scratch the surface, it’s just a kid eating paste and claiming others work as his own.

Oh how the left have skilfully mastered the art of deception by sprinkling a tiny bit of truth into a big fat lie. And then, expect that no one will research or challenge the lies. I assure you, that arrogance, lies, and smugness will never win the day, the battle, or the war. Something I would have expected the demoncrats would have learned after losing the election that gave Trump the popular vote and the electoral vote, and gave the Republicans the White House, the Senate, and the House. But no, they just dig in on the very things that lead to their grand, humiliating, and clueless loss. Because of the lies, deceptions, lack of care for the American people, abuses towards women and children, open border policies, DEI and race based identity politics, censorship and political lawfare toward those that disagree with them....a majority of American people no longer believe or trust them, or their state sponsored media.

1. Yes, his family was wealthy in his childhood but Musk did make his own money as an adult. He came to the US in 1992 and attended the university of PA., where he received a Bachelor of Arts in physics and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the university's Wharton School in 1995. Musk and his brother started their first company, Zip2, in 1995 with $28,000 borrowed from his father. In 1999, Compaq acquired Zip2 for $307 million in cash in February 1999, and Musk received $22 million for his 7 percent share, making him a millionaire at age 27.

2. He did not inherit an emerald mine from his father. Despite both Elon and Errol previously stating that Errol was a part owner of a Zambian emerald mine, in 2023, Errol recounted that the deal he made was to receive "a portion of the emeralds produced at three small mines".

3. Tesla Motors was established in July 2003. Musk led the Series A round of investment in February 2004; he invested $6.35 million, became the majority shareholder, and joined Tesla's board of directors as chairman.

During the time between Zip2 and Tesla, he founded X.com, PayPal, and SpaceX. He has gone on from there to found Starlink, Solar City, Tesla Energy, Neuralink, The Boring Co., and acquire X formerly known as Twitter. He also now leads DOGE.

These are all just a cursory share of his accomplishments and contributions to the world. There is so much more.

Wow, looks like it's you that needs to learn a bit more about Elon musk.

All the information I used above and so much more can be found here.

BTW...Has anyone seen the electoral map of what America looks like after the Nov. 5 humiliating defeat?😏

There's that red wave!😯

Yay Fascism!...

Again an out of context casual heartfelt wave is very different than a full on nazi solute repeated for clarity at a presidential inauguration. Please, for the love of the flying spaghetti monster, recognize the truth for once. Musk is a fascist, and loves and promotes fascists on his twitter platform. He did this because they love showing people who they are then denying it. They laugh at the people pointing to this call them crazy for thinking he's a nazi. It's fun for them. They used to call it dogwhistles, but this was a full on bark. Obvious and blatant. Yet they are still denying it and laughing at people pointing out the obvious.

It is a game and part of what excites sociopathic narcissists, like Musk and Trump. I once worked with a founder of a company who was very Trump like. He would lie and gaslight for sport, even when it didn't matter. He had a portion of the company following him in a cult-like way, just as MAGA followers exhibit all the signs of a cult. The insistence of followers on perpetuating the narratives of their leader is a coping mechanism to resolve the cognitive dissonance caused by the conflict between what they can see with their own eyes and what they want to believe is true and a virtue signal to show other members of the cult that they are still faithful to their leader. There's a lot of 1984 in 2025.

Why try to equate what clearly isn’t the same thing?
The speed the intensity and the facial features before you even consider Musks online trolling all indicate this was something totally different.
For what it’s worth I don’t believe Musk is a Nazi. I do believe he did a Nazi salute for the lols.
Macron is also an oddball, he’s married to his teacher for starters but he’s in no way inclined to carry out Nazi salutes.

It is certainly a mystery to me that we can look, see, and experience each other in the exact same way, and both see the exact same thing. I remember becoming aware of politics in my early teens when Nixon was in. Now, that was a horrible president. He was very common and vulgar. I was old enough to vote in 1978 and have paid close attention to politics since then. I am from Binghamton, NY which is just about 40 to 50 minutes north of Scranton, PA. I am retired from the Navy, and got my MBA from NY State University at Binghamton while doing recruiting duty in 1993. It's also where I met my wife. I have lived most of my adult life in the south in VA, FL, and now NC since 2001. I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I wasn't a real GW Bush fan....especially after 8 years of him.

I'm assuming that several of the Democrats here are educated. Most of my Independent and Republican, as well as Dem friends have graduate degrees. I have several old school democrat friends that I get along very well with. I do not worship Donald Trump, or any party but I detested what Biden and Harris were doing to our country. I am an fiscally conservative independent and have voted on both sides of the aisle....federal, state, and local. I went to Catholic school growing up but have no real religious beliefs or convictions. I have my own resl estate and property management business which I built, and my wife who has her graduate degree in EE is an Electronic Engineer who has worked for, and with...companies we are all familiar with. I have a son who is getting his MBA here in NC. I have an almost 5,000 sq ft, 3 story home in the suburbs in an upper middle class subdivision with an HOA. We both drive nice cars and we have a Cockapoo named Ben, short for Benjamin.

Why do we have such fundamentally and widely opposing views?

Democrats?! Another example of fascist propaganda. The Democratic Party isn't fascist in any way. Hell, they aren't even very left wing either. Fascism is an inherently right wing ideology. The GOP is fascist. They have been working to it for decades. I challenge you to go and look at it objectively instead of through your bubble of right-wing propaganda. It is objectively true.

Left or right fascists? Musk gave a Nazi salute? Take a listen to both of these and refute them if you can.

Seriously? You are just going to post fascist propaganda videos now. You can’t trust them. Think for yourself. Any reasonable person who saw that video of musk throwing up the Nazi solute, TWICE just in case you missed it the first time, knows what it was. Especially if you take it in context with his tweets before and since. Stop apologizing for fascists.

I am not discussing anything with you until you answer why you lied and put out false information about Elon Musk's life. I brought the receipts and proved you being deceptive. Nothing you say can be taken seriously. None of what you say is trustworthy. Everything you say is furthest from the truth, taken directly from the woke left gaslit propaganda bubble.

Well ... okay. The Democratic Party is 100% infected with virulent Marxist-Leninist style Communism with an overlay of identity politics that replaces the ideological capital-labor divide. In the end, it's just big federal government oppression over the rights of the individual. The founding fathers would be vomiting at the sight of them. It appears that the majority of Americans would take Elon Musk's style of "fascism" if given the choice.

Great, go away. I can't convince you with a mountain of evidence. Go back to your bubble... Or go try to pop it yourself. That's the only way you are going to realize the truth. You have to challenge your perceptions on your own. I'm never going to be able to do it because you will just discount anything I say as woke liberal lies. Figure it out for yourself.

HAHAHA... The Democratic Party isn't even to the left. Also, the government isn't the problem. The billionaires and the corporations are the problem. The government is supposed to be of, by, and for the people. The only problem with the government is that is has been infected by people, mostly from the right, who actively make it worse or ineffective so they can point to "big government" as the problem when really it's them intentionally ruining it for their rich masters. The government is in the oligarch's way and they are currently dismantling the only protections the people had against their taking over entirely and rolling over the little guy. What was it they used to say? "Make government so small that they can drown it in a bathtub"? Yeah, you have been sold a lie that government is the problem. Wake up and realize that.

The progressive wing of the Democratic Party is so left -- they left mainstream America. They are exactly how I characterized them (i.e., modern Marxists) and they enjoy outsized influence on the Democratic Party given their numbers. And, just so we are clear, billionaires and corporations, by and large, support the Democratic Party. This has been true for the past few election cycles, not just the recent one. But I agree, we should return to the ideals of the founding -- those steeped in Classical Liberalism, which exults in individual rights, limited government, rule of law and the implementation of reason and science. These principles are not exactly favorable to the big government to whom liberals pray.

The billionaire support both parties. They hedge their bets. It's why there is an 80% chance of a bill supporting corporations getting passed and a less than 20% chance of a bill supporting workers or average Americans getting passed no matter who is in office... but when they support republicans, they really support them. They give enough to democrats to get their priorities to not be blocked, but when they give to republicans they give deep and hard. The republicans have been putting through their messaging for decades upon decades. Corporations want deregulation, lower taxes on their profits, privatization so they can make money on services that should be provided for free (just wait until trump promotes the idea of private fire fighting services), and for profit healthcare not just so they can make money off your health, but also to keep people from being able to easily change jobs for better pay or benefits. Tat last one is insidious. They know that paying the government taxes to cover a universal health care system would cost them less than what they pay to premiums, but if people could just shop around for a better employer, they would lose more profits to that. Finally, I don't pray to big government, I don't pray an all, I'm an atheist. I do support support voting for people who actually want government to work for the people instead of the rich and powerful. And although the Democratic Party has gone far enough right in their support of corporate interests to make them almost republican light, there are still a lot of smart, dedicated democrats who still have the interests of the people in mind. The republican party is so set on destroying the government that they actively support a fascist like trump just to keep their corporate overlords from having to pay 5% more in taxes. To paraphrase what used to be the bar for bad presidents: "Corporations aren't the solution to the problem... corporations ARE the problem"
