Clear tray Torras.
Hard to remove tray because of the film sticking to the tray.
Alignment is almost perfectly centered. Camera L's are just slightly cutoff on the vertical and barely more on the left than the right.
I'm not wild about the oleophobic coating. Fingerprints smudges are noticeable. Last year I had the ESR Armorite and it was better.
Overall happy with it. I might try the ESR down the road.

Spoke with Torras and they confirmed the clear tray is the upgraded version with stronger glass.

So for anyone who’s compared both this Torras and the ESR which overall better to go with?

Just got my TORRAS's screen protectors from Amazon.
Do you think is a good approach to apply it right after removing the factory paper from the phone's screen? I think that way i can avoid dust and lint.
I did. Was concerned about the dust as well, but right after I removed the iPhone from the box I applied the Torras screen protector. It all went well with a few bubbles that were easily removed. Bought another one just in case.

Torras clear tray here. Super easy to install. Perfectly aligned with no dust. had a few tiny bubbles that wouldn’t squeegee out but they disappeared over night.

Here’s the camera app corners for ya:

Has anyone experienced sharp edges on their Torras this year? Previously the edges were rounded softly blending into the frame but I’ve just applied mine now (clear tray) and I have a sharp edge

Same here. They are going to send me new ones..
I sent them an email with the same photo.

Hopefully if enough people have this issue they’ll address with an updated model. I know last year they had a revision they branded as diamondshield or something of that sort

I’m sure in a case the edge isnt noticeable but it looks like it’ll attract lint plus I often use my phone without a case at home

Damn, i love the seamless & invisible edges of my 15 Pro Torras protector. I cant feel it on my phone even if I tried.
Yes on last years I can’t tell where the screen protector ends, it’s very smooth and has a nice rolloff to the edge of the phone frame

The edge here on the 16 pro is a… sharp.. contrast

Same here, clear tray and edges are a bit sharper than other screen protectors I’ve used in the past, but not a dealbreaker for me personally, especially since I’ll be using a case, so I think I’ll leave it. Can also see the four L’s in my camera app, so my alignment is perfect as I can tell.

I agree - perfect alignment and the sharp edges are not a dealbreaker when using a case. It's just because last years Torras were so perfect..

Maybe half of the right Ls are covered on mine. Not enough to be worried about and I’ll forget about it tomorrow. I did also notice the edges are kind of raised and don’t curved down. With the Apple silicone case I can’t feel or see it. Otherwise I really like the protector - it’s super silky smooth feeling and I basically can’t tell it’s on the phone.

For those that had trouble with getting the tray off, so did I. I had to peel the protective film’s tabs off the tray so that it would stay on top of the screen protector. That way I could squeegee the bubbles out without damaging the actual protector. With firm pressure they all came out perfectly.

I had torras on my 15 pro max and now 16 pro max. Never used a screen protector until the 15 scratched within days. It stayed perfect the entire year I have had it. I bought a flowlabs but never installed it because I didn’t want to risk a less than perfect install but I was interested in their anti glare and polarized sunglasses friendly features.

The only installs I’ve seen around the forums for the flowlabs show it being a bit undersized. So once again I’m hesitant to try it but would love something with flsre reduction.

I remember I had the same issue with my 15 Pro Max last year. Swapped over to the Wsken and both edges were great. Might end up going that route again to see how it is compared to last years.

It looks like the Belkin Ultraglass 2 is the best at not covering the edges:

Dbrand Prism 2.0 looks like it also doesn't have any rainbow effect or a border that slightly cover the edges. JerryRigEverything shows is around the 4:29 mark.

TIP: If you're experiencing little ugly bubbles after installing the screen protector and you can't wipe them away and you are about to give it another try with a new protector: DON'T! Take a deep breath and wait for a few hours or overnight. In 3 of 4 cases they magically disappeared.
