I also know that the OCZ Vertex 2 has trim support.
a quick google search tells me that ssd got trim in firmware 1.5, you have 1.35

Strange! On the official page I got 1.35.
Can you point me on that link please?
Thanks.
There's no link to that... as you can see at the official page, it says 1.6 firmware:

But I've recently updated mi OCZ Vertex 2 (4 days ago) using the tool OCZ provides and the latest version is 1.35 (same as yours).
Let me try if I can enable TRIM in mine as actually I've also have it disabled and will let you know.

Edit:
After rebooting (with the Trim Enabler opened) I obtain the following:

And checking the System Information I can see that TRIM is activated. I've readed a few posts ago in this thread that someone needed to use the soft three times until TRIM was activated, but I did it on my first try!
since I've enabled TRIM on my Intel (120GB) drive, my macbook pro (2010) will randomly just give me a pinwheel and I can't do anything without a hard reboot.
It's the 510 series.
Turn off TRIM
obvious deduction, but i'd like to learn why this would happen and how to still be able to use TRIM. Considering Intel drives are the recommended ones here.

I installed previous version of TRIM Enabler. Any reason to upgrade to 2.0? If so, do I need to uninstall/restore first before installing new version?

Yes, if you have enabled with a version that is 1.x, you should follow the steps here to update your driver to latest version:

See? Just reapply the patch.yes, most system updates will reset the patch, so you will have to patch again.
10.7.4 breaks the TRIM hack it seems. Once i updated my TRIM Yes went back to No.
