Hello!

I just randomly stumbled upon a new type of Link bracelet called Android Tungsten. It comes in 22mm & 24mm sizes with deploy clasp and has a glossy mirror finish that matches the SS Watch. The guy on this video is using a 24mm with a regular "leather band U-shaped" adapter I personally think that it would work even better with the other utica ebay guy adapter http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-Watc...ffType=OrderSubTotalOffer&_trksid=p5731.m3795

Pricing

The band itself costs more than a HOCO (80$) but it seems to be of a better quality and finish. The strap is also on the heavy side which is not a bad thing (I own a Link Bracelet and I think it is kindof too light imo). Some were available on Ebay for 60$. Just need to find the right moment :D It can be found here (also available on Amazon Prime but it is priced 30$ higher): http://www.android-usa.com/product-p/24-tn-as.htm

I also found another 22mm link band with another design http://www.amazon.com/ANDROID-Brush...6232717&sr=1-3&keywords=android+tungsten+band

Android is a very popular watch brand, been around for 10+ years I believe. Not a fan of their watches, but their watch bracelets are pretty nice. Tungsten bracelets are great, have some nice weight to them.

Nice find! It looks great. I would not mind a heavier band since I like heavier watches.

I've seen those Android watches sold on one of those shopping channels. At first I thought it was related to the OS. I do like the looks of the polished tungsten band. Watched the video. Sharp but the weight would be too much for me I think. Nice look though. I was actually shocked the video guy put that heavy watch on the classic adapter and did not use any threadlocker. Have to wonder if the weight of the band won't end up dropping off at some point and sending the face off too. Wonder if he knows it's suppose to be used.

I have a link bracelet to size so the video was actually helpful in that way too. And I learned something more about the pins used in the links. Interesting post Soya. Are you thinking of getting the band?

I'm not sure yet, I just bought a black sport band, a HOCO 5 beads & 2 alligator bands with deploy clasp so I'm gonna calm down a little bit for now :D I will probably buy it soon or later hehe.

The HOCO was nice for the price I paid (25$) but the fit was either too large or too tight for me. As for the quality it's ok. I am still in love with my Link bracelet.. Ideally I'd add a polished and a 2 tones (black-silver) ceramic bracelet.

Most of the straps that are currently on the market are regular bands with Apple Watch adapters. I can't wait to see other third party "Made for Apple Watch" with connectors that merge with the watch. JUUK is an example of a well-made steel band but I am kindof worried for their Indiegogo campaign right now as it is moving too slowly to my taste. By the time the bands ship if the campaign ever gets funded, we might see multiple other bands from bigger companies..

Leather bands are a safe buy for now. Steel bands are more "experimental".

I placed my order for the 24mm and will pair it with the new style lugs. They are on vacation so it's shipping August 1st. Hummm paying $30 more on Amazon to get it faster. So tempted.

Keep us updated! Amazon Prime is a good option if you want easy return in case it doesn't please you I guess.

Haha :D Like I said, it would be more reasonable to wait for the "approved" bands as far as steel bands go.

I liked this find a lot and decided to purchase it too. Here are some pics of the bracelet attached with the freedomclock adapter. The color is interesting. Some angles it looks dark and some look like it matches the SS perfectly. It doesn't so don't expect it based on pics alone. And the weight, oh man is it heavy. But I like that.

I opted to buy thru Amazon to get the free 2 shipping. Thanks for the find OP

Looks beautiful! I decided to wait for my original order. My adapters got lost in the mail soooo I'm just a bit annoyed right now. I have straps with no adapters so I can't use anything!

Frogstir, looks great on. I do like the link design in particular. Very sharp. The weight would kill my wrist I'm sure unless I started working out with dumbbells!

Word is Tungsten is super tough. I have no scratches yet, using it all day today. I work in the automotive service department. It does get lots of finger prints though.

Gorgeous! BTW it is now available 3-6 days@ 80$!

Oh yeah, but won't ship till August. I still have my order with Android USA. Since they are on vacation, I got an email from one of the employees stating he will ship out August 1st. So I coughed up the extra dough and got it from Amazon. Got it the next day. Going to sell my other Tungsten to my coworker when it comes in.

You're right I also didn't see that with the shipping fee the price bumped to around 95$. Amazon Prime returns & 2 day shipments are worth the extra imo.

I'm sorry I did put in effort but new to the game of finding things like this on the internet in which I can actually understand the language of the seller, and that just makes me get the heeby jeebies so I don't buy. Can you give me a link to the nice links that are being posted? That is, if they are offered in space gray(or grayish). That would be very nice if you could, thanks.

going to go back over this thread again and look for myself to see if I can find one but help would be....well helpful. thanks!
