Since Android-USA is really a watch manufacturer, I think they would rather talk you into buying one of their watches to wear their band on than make an adapter for someone else's watch. But good luck with your request.

As for the tungsten link fitting oddly on the classic apple style adapter, it was designed to fit a regular spring pin adapter. The cut out on the backside is so that one can get their spring pin tool into the non-flexible metal area of the band to insert the pin in the lug.

Yup, I already assumed both those situations. I could tell the notches were there for installation of the spring rod. In fact, when I watched a youtube guy struggling with it I wanted to yell at him "USE THE SPRING TOOL FORK INSIDE THE NOTCH!". I don't think he would have heard me.

I also know that ANDROID-USA would MUCH rather sell me a watch than a band. I get that and if I like their band so much I may well want to buy an ANDROID watch the next time I'm looking for a mechanical watch. In the meanwhile- if they DID manufacturer their own branded adapter, I'd pay them money that they would not have otherwise received...and so might others who really admire the manufacturing on this band.

So, adapter and tool kit came today. I'm now wearing the properly fitted band.

Dang that looks good and I do like it on the spring pin adapter. I have wondered if one couldn't find a jeweler who could polish the raw stainless areas on the adapter that are visible and wondered what something like that would cost. It's one of those things that bugs me to keep buying the adapters but feel if I don't, I don't have much recourse. I have both adapters and many bands can not take the classic style one so kind of feel stuck with the spring pin one.

BTW I have an Android band coming tomorrow. A python print leather band with quick pins I think it was called. I've seen a few like this but never owned one. There's a little lever you move that retracts the spring pin ends to make insertion and removal of the band easier. I just launched another spring pin off into my room somewhere today trying to swap out bands so hoping this feature makes it easier to install. Doesn't help with metal bands but if it works well, I have to say Android USA has some nice products. I seriously doubt though I would ever go back to a non-smartwatch again. Just not willing to give up what I have now I'm accustom to it.

WOW! I just got my spring pin adapter from freedomclock09 on eBay...put them on my Android Tungsten Bracelet...and WOW...it POPS! It looks TONS better on those than on the leather strap bars. Looks like it was made for the  Watch! Awesome sauce!

They have a new type of spring adapter this time from Arizona guy, it has slightly larger sides and it's cheaper @ 10$. You might want to give it a try.

Is it sold on eBay? What's the username? "Arizona guy"

I tried to enter http://www.android-usa.com
But it says they are on a break
WTF?

Yup. Seems they shut their company down for a couple months each year.

You can find the band on Amazon.com. I purchased it from a dealer called Crossover Timepieces.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004S823HS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

If you do some hunting online you can find a link to the 20mm band that's the same thing..and they are asking on their website like $299 for the band. I've heard, though, that they were offering this band for $80 through their website when it was open. So, I don't know if I overpaid $30 for this band or got a fantastic deal through Crossover Timepieces. Either way I'm really enjoying the band.

By the way, I got a reply from Android-USA about the possibility of a special Apple watch adapter or band. Pretty much what I expected, sadly. BUT....there's some hope. Here's what they had to say:

Thank you for your kind words, we currently don’t have any plan for making any kind of adapter, link or band specifically to fit the Apple watch to this tungsten band, but we will let you know if we have any new plan.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any further questions.

Thank you for being an ANDROID® customer!

Best regards,

Glad I found this thread. Just ordered a 22mm bracelet since it was only $80. The only price I found for the 24mm was $300. Should have everything I need sometime next week.

Thank you soya for the video.

Saw this thread pop up as I guess I'm following it, and for the heck of it went to the android-usa.com website and it's no long really featuring Android watches/bands. In fact the url changes to another name. There still is an Android tab with only a few products on it--saw 3 watches I think and some t-shirts. Under another tab, Accessories, I found the 24mm tungsten band reduced down to $150. Only band and size band I saw. I love the look of this band but know the weight will be an issue for me but thought others might be interested. Here's the web page for it:

http://www.aragonwatch.com/category-s/278.htm

BTW is Android officially not making watches/bands under that name any longer...thinking maybe google factors into this somehow. Like bought the watch name from them?

Got everything earlier then I thought and been wearing it for a couple of days now. This tungsten bracelet is heavy but I like it. Getting the 22mm instead of the 24mm means that there is some play between the adapter and the bracelet which isn't ideal but it's fine. After all, I did save $220 by going with the 22mm size. I didn't know about the $150 price for the 24mm before I bought this one so I guess in the end I saved $70 instead of $220 but I do like the Android name on the bracelet :)

I won an auction this morning for another SS Apple Watch and this one comes with the Apple branded link bracelet. It will give me a chance to compare it with this tungsten bracelet. I will probably sell the Apple link bracelet because I really like the look of this tungsten bracelet but we'll see.

I received the Apple link bracelet. This thing is nice! I've worn it and it's a feather compared to the Tungsten bracelet. The Apple link bracelet also looks a little more refined next to the tungsten. However, I do like the gloss look of the tungsten and the fact that it's much more scratch resistant then the Apple link.

As much as I like the Apple link I'm going to stick with the tungsten and sell the Apple link.

If I were to pick up the tungsten band due to it's heavy weight I would not put it on the classic adapter style adapter unless maybe applying permanent locktite on it's screws. Still not sure if I would risk it. Believe Android sold it for watches with lugs with spring pins.

This is my first post so please be kind. I was wondering if you have any photos of this band in the 22MM as I want the 24MM but am not willing to spend 300 for it. And can get the 22mm but not sure how much "play" is involved in the skinner band.

Also to anyone reading this, if you are interested in selling your 24MM band I am interested. Please let me know.

It bothered me at first but not anymore. The leather bands have the same type of play in them.

That doesn't look bad at all. And I am sure one could kinda position in the middle so it's not all one sided? But based on this picture if I can't get the 24mm I think I can do the 22mm instead. And just to be sure your watch is the 42mm Apple version correct? (Was driving and reading at the same time so you might have answered that already) And I must ask....how many compliments do you get...lol... as I would imagine a lot!!!

Mine is the 42mm. The band will shift from side to side. It won't stay in the middle. However, for the price difference I'll put up with it. After you stop paying attention to it you don't even notice it. I like it better then the Apple bracelet. At least this one doesn't get all scratched up!

The bracelet is heavy and takes some getting use to.

I still have my 24mm Tungsten Link Bracelet and it's never been used because I can't find the right spring pins to fit into the holes.

It appears you have the newest version of the bracelet. The one you have has a notched end as opposed to the straight end. Regular pin adapters don't fit it? I started to order the same one but thought the pin would be visible and wondered if anyone tried the watch band you have. I rather like the one you have I just don't know how to make it work. I would be curious to see your plans and how you make it work. Please let us know.
[doublepost=1456827913][/doublepost]Out of curiosity did anyone order an extra band and want to sell?? Or anyone just tired of the bracket you have and want to sell (that sounds like a long shot and wishful thinking huh)

I do prefer this new version too, but both adapters that I have did not fit which are YESOO and Luvvit Adapters. So, I'm trying to find new adapters that will fit into the holes, and I will keep it updated.

2 part question:

Anyone here have any extra 24mm tungsten bands they wish to sell or if someone didn't like theirs and wants to sell?

Secondly. Can any suggest other bands that are heavy in weight (I like heavy feeling watches) but classy looking like the tungsten band? Namely metal in material with a high polished finish!
