2 part question:

Anyone here have any extra 24mm tungsten bands they wish to sell or if someone didn't like theirs and wants to sell?

Secondly. Can any suggest other bands that are heavy in weight (I like heavy feeling watches) but classy looking like the tungsten band? Namely metal in material with a high polished finish!

You can buy one for $150 on the Android watch website. Mine costed $150 + $15 for shipping but good luck finding the right adapter.

It bothered me at first but not anymore. The leather bands have the same type of play in them.

Came across this and thought it might help. http://www.svnsxt.com/collections/a...l-apple-watch-band-adapter?variant=2485644483

Essentially they state that they use 22mm straps. Not sure if that would help you with the "play" or even if it works with band made of metal. It would help if they had them in stock for someone to try. Anyway, thought it was worth a post.

Thank you. I did see that one on their website. I thought about it and not sure of how it would look with it not being a straight pin flat piece at the end of the band. Wouldn't the pin show? Would that put undue stress on certain parts of the pin? Not sure and although I would pay 150 and I like that design better then the original, I would rather see if I could get the original. Especially since all sales are final and this is a blind buy for me. (Not to mention the adapter issue)

I'd read the Click thread on here before plunking down any money on them.

Since the tungsten band is so heavy I would be careful about getting something that can support the band...expensive watch, expensive band...big loss otherwise.

Yup, I already assumed both those situations. I could tell the notches were there for installation of the spring rod. In fact, when I watched a youtube guy struggling with it I wanted to yell at him "USE THE SPRING TOOL FORK INSIDE THE NOTCH!". I don't think he would have heard me.

I also know that ANDROID-USA would MUCH rather sell me a watch than a band. I get that and if I like their band so much I may well want to buy an ANDROID watch the next time I'm looking for a mechanical watch. In the meanwhile- if they DID manufacturer their own branded adapter, I'd pay them money that they would not have otherwise received...and so might others who really admire the manufacturing on this band.

So, adapter and tool kit came today. I'm now wearing the properly fitted band.

Is there anyone who would be interested in selling their 24mm Android Link. Would be willing to pay a Premium?

Sadly, when I was working on my watch, i set my Android tungsten band near the edge of my desk. I accidentally nudged it and it slid quickly off and fell to the hardwood floor. Tungsten is brittle. The link that attaches to the clasp, shattered in two. So, my band is now dead and I tossed it as that link can’t be removed or replaced. So, my band is off the market and now in a landfill someplace!
