My order seems to have gone from processing to (hopefully) delivered in 24 hours. I expected it to ship from China.

Just add Single Malt to that lineup, and winter will be even easier ? That is what I do! Still waiting for my M1 MacMini. Hoping to get a HomePod Minis for X-Mars.
I intend to! Installing the HP Minis in my new music room, which is where all the cocktail making happens... ;)

Am going to try a pair out and then see if I need to ask Santa for a couple more for my study.

My MM is now in Germany so delivery on Monday. A bit earlier than the original date given so only a couple of days to wait.

Just a point for those that have no need for more than 8GB today. I see AS both changing and improving the available software, all leading to macOS being more useful than before. But looking over the next few years I really can't see 8GB being that comfortable. Also thinking about resale in years to come and what people will want in 2-5 years.

Not suggesting everyone should jump on 16GB, just some thoughts.

Mine did the same, goes from there to Dubai, then Germany and on to the UK. Tuesday is good though, not long to wait.

Have you got yours now then? If so how long did you wait for it to go from HK to Dubai? I can’t stop checking the tracker haha

Same for me. Same config, same order date.
Expected delivery one day earlier though in Germany. I guess because it goes to Cologne first.

No, it is arriving on Monday. I know though, I keep checking the tracker. Cleared customs in Germany waiting on it now arriving in the UK. It sat in HK for a few days, should have arrived today but there was a delay in HK.

That's odd ... the UPS tracking page now has less information than before. I just see the overview, which is still stuck in Honk Kong, but the detailed view button has gone.

I probably wore out the detailed view :)

That's the same for me now, only the simple tracking info is available! Wonder why that is

Interesting. I wondered if it was a stock item somewhere in the UK? Would like to think mine is but I doubt it's got anywhere other than a Far Eastern prod line.
The same spec is available for pickup today or on the 22nd from a few stores... not really sure how it works.

Found I can still get the full details if I request an update via email.

I also managed to get the virtual assistant to quote me a scheduled delivery date and its the 26th, two days later than is shown on the same web page.

Patience is a virtue....

Apple app is showing deliver by 2nd December, there's no tracking on the DHL website yet, but I've just got a text from DHL to say the laptop is due for delivery on Monday 23rd.

The 16 GB configurations are showing up in local stores but they go out of stock right away. There is a 16/1TB in the city to the North but I'm looking for a 16/256 and I have not seen these in the 20 or so stores in my area. 8 GB models are plentiful. I think that Apple miscalculated on the demand for the 16 GB models, at least in my area.

Bear in mind that the vast majority of people don't know about the new M1 Macs. Apple isn't really doing any marketing with this release. This does have the feel of an old-school iPhone launch. I'm hoping for better availability of 16 GB models in the next couple of weeks.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the stores get one BTO model and they've decided with the M1 Pro that its the 16/1TB one they're going to stock. So I don't think there will be any other spec than this with 16GB RAM available to pickup from stores. Its frustrating, but unless there's an "off the shelf" model with 16GB RAM, you're best to just order online.

This is the only model that I've seen available in my area with 16 GB. Bear in mind that I'm looking at about 20 stores in my area. I check all of the models a few times a day. I'd like a Mini 16/256. I would not mind an Air 16/256 or MBP 16/256 either. I was thinking of getting a Mini and an Air or Pro. I do not need storage as I have a home cloud but I need the RAM for the Mini and want it on the mobile.

My DHL tracking has just updated to show it's actually in Eindhoven now and I have an estimated delivery of Monday.

I won't get too excited though, this happened before and then there was a power problem which delayed it.
