I found that Apple's estimate for spot on for me, there were a lot of delays getting it to me due to channel tunnel delays, UPS delays before Christmas etc.

I expect some of the Christmas rush will have disappeared, but there are probably now other logistical challenges thanks to Brexit/customs requirements etc.

Well Apple’s estimate was also spot on for me but they basically gave me a 3 week delivery window so I’m not gonna applaud them too much for that!

Well my UPS status just got updated. It's still in Shanghai apparently. It's scheduled for UK delivery on Thursday the 14th, two days after Apple's website's estimate. Better than the 20th in the email I guess. Now to see if UPS can (pun intended) deliver.

UPS delivered. Got mine on the 14th yesterday so I’m pleased. 2 weeks earlier than Apple‘s original estimage and nearly a week ahead of their estimated delivery date in the despatch email.

Shame when I started installing Big Sur I hit straight into the User Account Creation error and had to do a full restore after 4 hours. And today I see side loading apps is now gone. It’s the main reason I opted for an M1. Might return it now and keep my i7 MBP. Oops!

Ordered my second base MBA M1 (silver) from Very.co.uk. One hour later, got shipping notification, and it's due to arrive tomorrow.

So as I said before, if anyone is after the base factory configs of the MBA or MBP, Very have them. You may need to keep refreshing to see stock, they only seem to get small batches in at a time.
