I don't know what the governing factor is (maybe carrier?) but my M1 MBA left Cologne in the early morning and went to Stanford le Hope (Essex) by road. My carrier was UPS.
Others flew from Cologne to East Midlands airport. Maybe they were DHL?
Update on mine. Indeed it has ended up in Stanford Le Hope the following evening. There is a UPS flight between Cologne and East Midlands most nights, but mine was not on it.

Yes it seems curious how some fly and some walk :)
Still, an update for you nonetheless!
It's getting nearer

UPS fly from cologne to East Midlands too, my 1st BTO order followed that route. I’d hazard a guess that it went via road/rail or ferry to Essex. If it flew into stansted we’d have had a tracking event there too.

Maybe volumes have lowered to make air freight for the leg not cost effective from them

All guesswork tbh

So a question to anyone who ordered apple care at the same time as their Mac. When did you receive your apple care documentation email? When your were charged? Was it after the status changed to shipped?

Just trying to figure out the order it all happens

From memory it arrived shortly before the Mac did, maybe a day or so but the whole bill was paid at the same time as far as I'm aware, which was when it was shipped.

From recollection the AppleCare documentation is sent via email a few (perhaps 2) days before delivery of the laptop. Charged at the same time as the laptop on a single invoice.

I would have usually said yes but it seem some recent parcels into cologne haven't left till the next morning. They did use to leave what would have been later this evening or early am into East Midlands.
Yep just got a date from UPS - Monday it is

I read somebody was looking for opinions on the Magic Mouse here - I've had one and my hand would hurt after a few hours of use as there's no support under the middle part of your hand. The gestures are cool though, and the integration with macOS as it replicates the trackpad.

I switched to the MX Master and don't regret it, I wish I bought one sooner. It's currently only £32 on Amazon which is an absolute steal! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0761YL...&tag=pepperugc03-21&ascsubtag=2262439796&th=1

Thanks, that was me! The mx master is pretty much ruled out for me as I’m left handed.

Have read lots of similar comments to yours regarding hand support so that got me thinking to look at it he Magic Trackpad too.

Still going to try the mouse first, and given the extended returns over Christmas, take that time to decide on how I feel

OK so I've now been sat for Processing - Charged for 24 hours now. No signs of a move to PfS yet...how long do people sit on Processing - Charged before they see a PFS ?

I ended up getting two sleeves from Harber London for my 16" MBP: the Laptop Case, and the Slim Folio Laptop Case No. 7 (both in the colour Tan). I ordered the Laptop case first, and it was slightly defective so they offered to send another one for free, and I chose the Slim Folio Laptop Case No. 7 instead because they said it would be slightly better-fitting. Let me know if you're considering either of these, there are definitely pros and cons for both.
I’d be interested in that. I have the 16inch MBP. I’d like a cover that was not too bulky & allows in-sleeve charging.

Finally seeing some movement. Delivery is 3rd-10th December ordered 31st October (after cancelling a few other options) my debit card had a bit of movement saying the payment was pending again on Wednesday and I can now see preparing to ship!

JinJin, it might be worth you taking a look at this accessory for the Magic Mouse which is available on Amazon. My son, who uses a Magic Mouse, bought one last week and swears by it. He said that it gives more support and makes gestures much easier to do.
