Just returned my 14" 10/16/16/1TB in silver. To powerful for what I need and the battery was below factory spec out of the box according to Coconut Battery. Will re-order a base 14" with 1TB once the money goes back in the account. Don't mind waiting the month when I'm saving £300 and I can get by with my trusty 2014 for the extra time.

Also if anyone is still waiting for their 14" and is upgrading from a 13" then old sleeves should fit as long as there not tight fit. I have a Herschel sleeve from my 2014 13" and the 14" fits perfectly.
This is my scenario, too. However, the difference between the 10/16/16/1TB vs the base with 1TB is only £161 thanks to John Lewis price matching. With the extra year warranty from JL it’s worth it for me.

Any shipping notice for you yet Jinjin - mines been on PFS since early this morning - 12+ hours now o_O
nah nothing yet.. I'm not holding my breath for anything soon... will be pessimistic and say it ships the end of the week and then arrives towards the end of the following... that will mean hitting the beginning of the 3rd Dec window..

anything quicker and I'll be happy!

for UK deliveries at least there have been two paths a number of recent orders have taken

1. Ships direct from China to door. The change from PFS to Shipped has then been ~24/48H. These are usually UPS or DHL

2. Ships from Snycreon (UK). The change from PFS to shipped then is longer and we don't see it ship until it is passed to the UK courier (DPD or DHL). the length of time for it to then change from PFS to shipped would be down to us not seeing it being sent out to Syncreon.

I'm waiting on my monitor to arrive today.. last piece in the puzzle I thought then realised I now need a fix web cam as I plan to run in clamshell mode with it connected to monitor!

any webcam recommendations? the Logitech c920 seems a generally recommended on.

I've been following this thread for some days, so I guess it could be useful to share my shipping info as well.
I'm just waiting in the Processing step since 24th October, and the predicted window is 29 Nov - 6 Dec. I ordered a Max, 64 gb RAM, 1 Tb SSD.

I'll be updating if I see any movements, as I'm hoping this week will be "the one" and I finally see the order moving somewhere :)

Ahhh now that you mention that it might be handed off to Apple's Japan logistics partner.

The likes of DHL / UPS don't have widespread collection / delivery networks - Sagawa / Kuro Neko have the market by the scruff of the neck and especially with me being out in the sticks it wouldn't surprise me if it was a local dispatch

someone had previously asked about Apple Black Friday offers etc. Looks like they've announced some offers in line with previous years. They'll provide gift cards with qualifying purchases. As expected, its not on any of their latest stuff, so no new MacBook or the iPhone 13.

It's only showing on their US store site atm (https://www.apple.com/shop/gifts/shopping-event) but we'll usually get a similar offering (just a lower voucher amount $ > £) I see the apple magic keyboard might qualify for voucher (can't see it being more than a tenner or so!) so might have to return the one I got last week and buy again for a few quid more back

EDIT: uk pages up now too: https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/gifts/shopping-event
