Hello,

You can use barrier to share mouse/keyboard between your two machines. Free software and works very well. It is not native M1 but I had no problems running it. Just install on each machine, set one as server (the one with the keyboard and mouse), other as client, and you are in business.

Looks like mine finally arrived in the UK late last night and departed from East Midlands around 1:30am

Fingers crossed out for delivery today!

Tracking hasn’t updated beyond departing East Midlands at 1:30am yet - but will be pretty disappointed if they don’t get it out today!

Last package I received from them left East Midlands at 5am and was in my local depot within the next hour 😅

Just to double check - if I want to try and track by reference on DHL / UPS it's the order number or my mobile that should bring something up if a label has been created right ?

OK, all optimism for delivery this week has now left me with the MacBook is chilling in Shanghai and I can image it now staying there until the weekend

Hopefully, movement happens soon for you. Staying positive. Still getting it in the month of November and not December Happy and safe travels to you buddy

I think I've finally got my UPS My Choice registeration right.

It's a bit funny about Japanese addresses

Lets see if it picks something up - it semes like UPS is a common option as they feed in to Kuro Neko.

I'm going to guess i'll be UPS if dispatched from China because DHL doesn't serve my area so it would make sense for the Japan leg to be served by their normal domestic courier.

Anyone had any blemishes out of the box? Here’s mine, JL replaced it, while the replacement is better there’s a small area next tit he keyboard where it looks like the machine jolted a little.

Still "Arrived at DHL Delivery Facility" fingers and toes are still crossed my DHL guy arrives around 12:30 usually. Hope it's just slow to update!

EDIT: Typical, right as I posted this I got the notification! "10:48 Local time | Shipment is out with courier for delivery"

Yes grab the UPS and DHL Express apps, sign in/sign up making sure Postcode and contact numbers match those Apple received at point of purchase. I got my DHL notification days before Apple sent anything to me

It’s a lot of money for you not to be happy with it. Did t have my new pro long enough to notice but there were no initial problems at first sight.

I'm not in two minds if I should go 4k and forgot the UltraWide... I really do like the screen real estate but the resolution on text etc just doesn't have that crispness of what you get on a retina screen....


god, this will turn into the whole MacBook dilemma again for me! 😂

Really frustrating not having an ETA yet - nearly 3 days at PFS is . With a 3rd December arrival window start it must be going out the door soon I guess ?

Need to organise my trade in and buy my accessories. I guess I should get Parallels bought while I'm at it as I'm 2 versions out of date. Want to try a few bits and pieces on Steam.
