Just got the text that it'll be here between 10.18 and 11.18

Re my snake, texts have been from DHL until now, but I’ve had one from the DPD driver. DHL said delivery between 11:00 and 12:00 but the text from “Anthony” at DPD says 11:30 to 12:30.
I dread to think how overloaded the delivery companies are on Apple launch days and from other posts I suspect Apple Pay is struggling. I’ve still not had the payment taken from my credit card, so will phone Apple if it doesn’t happen overnight.
I‘ve postponed my daily walk and Sainsbury’s shop until I have my Pro 11” in my hot sweaty palm.
Good luck to everyone else and congratulations to those who are already playing with it.

So my first impression is that it’s super thin yet surprisingly it feels quite dense to me… not that I would bend it intentionally but it feels stronger than I thought. Screen is beautiful. More later.

In the US etc black cable with a white plug looks so meh
I agree. I saw this on Amazon which might pair nicely with the braided black cable you get on the Space Black Pro?

Today won't be as bad as iPhone launch days. One of DPD drivers can be really grumpy at the best of times but thankfully he is not delivering today as he also has a knack of delivering my stuff to wrong house.
Am getting really excited for my first new iPad in 7 years. Never really keep much up to date with iPads in the interim but this does feel like its a really good year to upgrade.
Similar to me. I've not upgraded the iPad for 4 years and also have the new pencil and keyboard coming as well. Getting closer although of all the delivery companies for my address DHL are the only ones who "Forget" where I live. They also completely lost an M1 MBP a few years ago. It never turned up.
Having a nightmare! DPD just came with the shiny iPad but EE ot DPD sent the pin to our existing iPad which doesn’t accept text messages! He’s walked away with it 😡
