ive seen this happen with previous launches. It still can arrive tomorrow.
I’m actually going to try and get the mini to make a direct copy of my iPad Pro. I’m wondering if by laying it near the Pro it will try to mimic it’s much larger iPad?
I do have a lot of Apps with tons of data that I would like to also be available immediately on the smaller mini.
If not it is then going to be a long and busy week getting the data onto the mini.
No, it just said pending date forever. Stock went live on John Lewis at 8 so I've ordered it there instead because they only had 10. It took me too long to pick a colour so I could only get early October dates on Apple by the time I'd decided what I wanted.
ETA I wanted the space grey 256gb cellular one which I think complicated things tbh

Mine is due to be delivered while I’m out at work, by DHL. Annoying but unavoidable I guess.

No update on delivery from AO - just says it delivers 'today' on my account but no text with delivery time. Not optimistic of its arrival.
Do I win a prize? Not had chance to open it yet. Still setting up my other Mini delivery.
Let me know how you get on with AO today if you don’t mind. Amazon still has no estimated delivery date and everywhere is sold out apart from AO from the looks of things so I’ve just put in an order with them instead and it shows that the order has been processed and will be delivered tomorrow.
I’ll wait a few hours and then cancel the Amazon order as I’m hopeful that AO will come through.
Well this sucks, I’ve either made a rookie mistake or DHL has a stupid system. I downloaded the DHL app on my phone yesterday and in the process of setting it up you have to nominate a “safe place” to leave a parcel if you’re not in. Apparently Apple don’t allow DHL to leave parcels and the process of me picking an option in the app triggered something on the DHL system that’s pushed my delivery date to Monday. That’s according to the nice lady who just phoned to say my stuff is still sitting in a depot instead of on a delivery van.
In Edinburgh for a 3 day break. Ordered 64GB Starlight iPad mini at 07:45 this morning & got in store pick up at 15:00 today.
They've always been very reliable in the past, had my MacBook Air and a number of other items from them but no tracking info this time is making me nervous.
Good to know, as I'm going into the Princes St store on Sunday to pick up my case - if AO don't deliver, I'll order from Apple tomorrow for collection.
Mine has processed now and it still shows as delivery tomorrow. A positive is that the tracking shows it being delivered by DPD and they’ve updated the status to show that DPD now have the parcel (although can’t track it with them yet, guessing I’ll be able to later tonight).
Hope yours comes through today.
Mines is meant to arrive 13:16-14:16, just got a message to say it's delayed and hopefully be later today. First world problems but fingers crossed.
I also ordered the 13Pro for delivery today, which was delivered early by DHL. I've now had a text to say my DHL delivery is delayed...wonder if its the AO order or just an error.
